2 Hollywood Men tried the look today. Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl and James Lautner from Twilight movie. One of them looked great, the other one was, well… you’ll see.

James Lautner wore his white t-shirt and jeans combo for a Cool (Wet) magazine photoshoot in Malibu beach. Talk about a Wet T-Shirt moment, hah.

Penn Badgley

Penn Badgley wore his own white t-shirt and jeans combo plus a knit cap around Chelsea in New York City with girlfriend Blake Lively.

Now don’t get me wrong, I actually like Penn but not today. All I could think of after seeing the picture was, “get a shower dude“. Or maybe join James down there in Malibu beach.

Who do you think wore the white T-Shirt the best? I know I know, James was in a photoshoot. I’ve seen other Men wear white shirt before and they were not in photoshoots. They looked way much better than Penn that’s for sure. Now I’m a little pissed because I thought anyone would look good in a white shirt. Judging from Penn’s picture, apparently not. Oh well, maybe some other time. I dig his blue sneakers though.

It’s not that often that we see Sly out and about wearing a nice button-down shirt, with trouser and patent leather loafers. He is usually wearing basic t-shirt and jeans. But then again, he was shopping at Barneys after all.

Stallone’s accessories are not shabby either. I mena hello, he pulled out the sexy Aviator sunglasses, with gold and black combo watch and belt. Sly’s belt buckle actually features 2 guys arm wrestling. It just shows the muscular arms of course but yes, that’s what they’re doing in the buckle.

It’s nice to see Sly looking all put together and cleaned up. Gotta give the guy credit coz he still looking good as ever. I guess you can say I’m happy to see Sly looking like this. I hope to see more of this look in the future.

Colin Megaro started with a custom made suit from Oxxford Clothing. The latter has been around since 1916 and has been worn by the Hollywood Big Wigs including Carey Grant and Clark Gable. To match the suit, Colin picked a shirt and necktie from the label Hugo Boss which happens to be Michael’s favorite. In huge award nights like the Emmy’s, the attendees muct be comfortable in what they’re wearing. Michael sure looked cool and dapper in his suit. So cool that he took home one of the huge awards of the night.

Congrats Michael Emerson and 2 thums up to Colin Megaro for helping him out in the fashion department.

Daniel Craig was spotted in Midtown Manhattan sporting a mustache, with black baseball cap, black shirt, jeans, boots, and a security badge necklace carrying a few boxes.

Fret not my friends because this is probably just a look needed for his new Broadway play with equally hunky co-star Hugh Jackman aka Wolverine called A Steady Rain. Whewwww. There is something so endearing and almost creepy vibe with Daniel’s new look . Endearing in the sense that he looks approachable with just his casual shirt and jeans outfit. The mustache on the other hand makes him look creepy. No offense of course. I guess I prefer Daniel Craig with no facial hair because he looks more debonair and suave without it. Just my preference of course. What do you think?

Brad Pitt At Cannes

Brad Pitt

Is there any doubt how handsome Brad Pitt looks? Albeit I don’t get the grey scarf combined with the light brown (almost light pink) colored suit, white unbuttoned shirt, brown and black cap-toe loafers. I really don’t get the grey scarf, but he still looks elegant and dapper with a modern glamour twist added into style.

Let’s start with the host, Hugh Jackman. He changed 3 times. If my sources are right, his suits were custom made. He opted for bow-tie, from the opening to his performance all the way to the end. Hugh Jackman did wonderful. He is a full package entertainer. I loved how he played an homage to all the movies in his “recession” show then at the end he proclaimed to everyone how he is THE Wolverine. 2009 Oscar’s was fun because of Hugh.

More Stylish Men after the fold….

Best Actor winner Sean Penn with previous Oscar’s winners, Robert de Niro, Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Anthony Hopkins and Adrien Brody. Sean Penn is I think one of the few who donned a monochromatic suit.

Robert Downey Jr was his usual dapper self. He finally shaved, (hehe). He also opted for a basic black and white suit with necktie.

I’d probably get tomatoes thrown at me after this but I don’t really consider Twilight star Robert Pattinson hot. His “rebel-scruffy-devil-may-care” look has all been done before. Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell anyone? Just sayin’. But he looked ok last night.

Zac Efron played his part as the Hot Young Hollywood Kid wearing his Dolce & Gabbana suit at a huge party successfuly. He and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens performed with Hugh Jackman during the show.

Brad Pitt was once again wearing Tom Ford. He looked good as usual.

Daniel Craig didn’t disappoint with his own bow-tie formal look.

I hate to be such a fashion nitpicker regarding Chace Crawford’s hot looking stripes suit look but I must. It’s a dirty job and it happened to have fallen on my lap. When I first saw this picture of Chase Crawford, looking all suave in his navy blue suit, tonal stripes dress shirt, silk tie and the oh-so-sexy Aviator sunglasses, I was whistling. He looked gorgeous. But then my eyes fell on the shoes. My excitement dwindled down faster than I can say, “patent“.

The Gossip Girl hottie definitely missed a beat on the shoe department. The oxfords looked old, dirty, and it just did not look good with the handsome suit he is wearing. If he wore a leather patent oxfords then I would be singing a complete happy tune. I think Chase committed such a major fashion atrocity. How can you have perfectly brushed school boy hair, sexy Aviators, crisp suit, cute & suave smile, and then BAMM! ruin it all with a pair of shoes that has obviously seen the worse days in it’s lifetime?

These young ones, they think they can get away by having a hit show and good looking smile. The nerve. With a well-funded wardrobe department, you’d think Chace would find something better than that. Maybe the show needs to cut off Leighton Meester/Blair Waldorf’s headband budget so they can provide proper shoe wear to one of their leading men. Hey, just a thought .

If you’re going to sport a beard this year, I hope you look as good as Keanu Reeves, heh. See, I didn’t particularly like Prince William’s beard, but I’m liking Keanu Reeves’ beard. Not all Men can pull off a facial hair. It’s kinda like the skinny jeans. Some Women, present company included (ME) must really stay away from them. Know what I mean?

Factors that matter when it comes to beard are age, facial features, and even complexion. A blonde beard ala Prince William only really works for well, the big guy in the red suit. We call him Santa Clause. Prince William just looked too disturbingly scruffy. Compare to Keanu Reeves’ beards which adds another level to his sex appeal. He looks like one of the bad boys Mothers warn their daughters to stay away from but oh so dangerously sexy and handsome and probably a softie  on the inside . 

What I’m trying to say is, Keanu Reeves looks good with a beard while Prince William doesn’t. The difference is like night and day.

Ben Affleck must have read my comment *ahem* that I made last week regarding his facial hair. I loved his new hairstyle but his facial hair was another story. I wished that he will shave soon and he did. Ben Affleck looks more handsome than ever .

Digressing from his improved look, Ben Affleck just launched a documentary called Gimme Shelter. The latter is a 4-minute short film documenting the humanitarian crisis currently happening at the Democratic Republic of Congo.  Gimme Shelter hopes to focus on the issues that everyone should be paying attention to instead of just looking away.

Props to Ben Affleck for using his fame for good causes like this. It makes his facial hair issues so superficial but I hope you all appreciate the fact that She Knows Best balances fashion, celebs, grooming, and lifestyles for everyone .

Can you believe that’s the same kid from What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? Leonardo sure has experienced “King Of The World” moments, huh? What with his successful acting career, humanitarian acts, Go Green movement and dating models, one after the other .
