55DSL’s Fall Winter ‘08 collection will showcase styles and designs derives from the hi-fidelity stereo equipment and twisted references to the late 80’s. Think audio casettes graphics and old LP covers. Try not to miss the colors of hot-red- turquoise and purple. I don’t think you could anyway. Click on the images for larger versions.

We always hear the phrase “Fashion is a cycle“. It may be 2008 but designers will take inspiration from a certain item on previous years, as the case here with 55DSL using the ’80s as an inspiration. I do like the silhouettes. And this is coming from a person who’d prefer it if guys don’t wear skinny jeans unless they’re a rock star. The tees and polo shirts are focal points in the looks. I’m not sure about the turquoise and purple jeans though. But I understand it’s supposed to be what’s the trend these days. I thought it was only for Women, 55DSL says it’s for Men as well.

Holy Crap! I Like Something From Evisu Genes

Evisu Genes fans who’s been trying to mutilate me for saying Evisu Genes jeans are fugly would be very surprised to find out I actually, genuinely, like this Evisu Genes Heritage Print Hoody. I love the calligraphy print on this hoody. But then again, people who really know me, like you know, people outside the blogging world, know that my kitchen is filled with Asian-theme decorations. Even though I really don’t know what the print means, for all we know they’re cussing the life out of us, I like it. Fashion wise, I like them too. I have bracelets, and tees with Asian calligraphy on them.

So YAY, thunder strikes me down or myself redeemed, I like this Evisu Genes Hoody . What do you think Mike and Rangga?

Not only does SKB likes Ed Hardy stuff, I also try to encourage Men to sometimes step out of the norm of grey and black colors once in a while, Hence, we like it when Men Wear Pink. Are you the Diesel Military Hoodie in charcoal gray? I think my husband will pick this one. He’ll definitely like the subtle color of gray. Although I’m not sure if he’d like the collars….

Are you the Diesel Striped Hoodie? I would love to see this on the hubby as I love the Blue/gray/charcoal/cream stripes and the ribbed details on the wrist and hem, but I’m afraid he’ll think this is a little preppy for his taste. Oh well.

Are you the Diesel French Terry Hoodie? Now I know this is my hubby’s pick. Light tan color is perfect. Banded waist, kangaroo pockets and zip cuffs are details I’m sure he’ll appreciate.
