John Travolta Looked Young and Hip

allstarphotos133893-JOHN-TRAVOLTA-Bolt-Premiere

When I first saw this picture of John Travolta, I thought to myself, “Oh C’mon, he’s trying to look young and hip”. Un-tucked white dress shirt, with the bottom unbuttoned, a loose necktie, black blazer and pants. After looking at it for 2 days now, I eventually warmed up to this look.

So what if John Travolta is trying to look young and hip. I don’t think he’s going through a midlife crisis in this outfit. I think he’s just trying to appeal to the young crowd of his new movie BOLT with Miley Cyrus. As a matter of fact, he actually looks cool. It’s a very nice casual wear from John Travolta

By the way if you have children, BOLT is a good movie to bring them too. My family saw it yesterday and we all loved it. It’s funny and very heartfelt that would appeal to kids and adults alike.

Not everybody is digging John Travolta and his new mustache but I do. I think John Travolta with a mustache looks cool, sexy and fierce :). I like his new hairstyle too. Clean cut and military inspired. What do you think?

Men’s Vogue 50 Most Influential Films On Men’s Style

james-deanMovies have always influenced Men and Women’s style through out the years. Whether we like to admit it or not, it’s the truth. Women are getting more attention but if you really think about it, Men’s styles in the movies have a lot to be desired. Mention Casablanca for example. Instantly you’d think of Humphrey Bogart’s charismatic character. James Dean pretty much revolutionized the Jeans and White T-shirt look on Rebel Without A Cause. Who could forget the dashing Mr. Cary Grant? You sure can’t dismiss the major influence of Steve McQueen and Sean Connery in the industry. How can anyone forget the iconic white polyester suit that John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever? 2 words, Reservoir Dogs, uh huh!

george-clooney-clayton As for the most recent ones, just think about the Ocean’s Eleven headlined by George Clooney, Brad Pitt, and Matt Damon. Sure they’re pulling another con but goshdarnnit, they’re going to look good doing it. Of course this is because the original Ocean’s Eleven were the best-dressed Men of their own generation. Let’s not forget the Urban style we see on our young ones. The suit-community might not agree with baggy pants, blings, colorful and long shirts but the point is, it has impacted the everyday styles of any Men, young and old in the streets of New York, California, or anywhere else for that matter. From suits, to military-inspired looks, to casual, to California surfer, to Urban looks, Movies have definitely touched the Men’s Styles.

Men’s Vogue selected the 50 Most Influential Films On Men Style and I compiled the list for you.
