Johnny Depp, 2009 People Magazine Sexiest Man Alive

I said “Thank God” above because frankly I am not into this whole Twilight “I would die for Robert Pattinson” hoopla. I don’t find him cute at all. But of course teenagers do and some adults too but he’s really not my type. Robert Pattinson is of course part of this year’s list but his rebel or devil may care “image” has all been done before. James Dean is the most recognizable one. But definitely, Johnny Depp is the one who has that image as well. And well deservingly so because he is it to the T.

In any case, Ryan Reynolds took the 2nd spot, Jake Gyllenhaal for the 3rd, Bradley Cooper for the 4th, Robert Downey JR for the 5th, Becks is 6th, Gilles Marini is 7th, GLEE guys took the 8th spot, Nick Cannon for the 9th, Adam Lambert (American Idol) took the 10th. John Cho (Harold of Harold and Kumar) is 11th, Daughtry is 12th, Jerry O’Connell is 13th, John Legend is 14th, and Robert Pattinson is 15th.

But where’s my Chuck Bass, I mean Ed Westwick? Hmmmm

Johnny Depps is certainly not looking like a stinky and ungroomed pirate Captain Jack Sparrow huh? A simple button short sleeves shirt, jeans, new haircut and BAMM. I can’t get over how good and young he looks. But of course I’m not surprised .

I think Johnny Depp can certainly pull it off and get away with it with unscathed reputation. Maybe Colin Farrell as well as long as he wears a shirt underneath the long sleeve shirt and shaves of that thick mustache. Colin’s picture was taken a few years back though so that mustache is probably gone. Anyhoo, I don’t know about the Man-Nytail. It just seems untidy to me. Especially with Heath Ledger in his Blazer and torn neck shirt underneath. Don’t get me wrong, I like the guy but he needs to start grooming himself.

So, would you be caught dead in a MAN-NYTAIL?
