Say “I” if you’re one of those guys in the picture. In boxers, waiting to be sized up (for Levi’s Jeans) at the Levi’s game “Size Does Matter” in NYC yesterday. Were you in one of those dark blue, light blue, red or green boxers?

C’mon now, don’t be shy. Men In Boxers, in NYC. Who cares about the jeans?

Yay or Nay : Skinny Jeans

On the upcoming June issue of Men’s Health magazine they featured a How-To article in wearing a denim. Adam Levine from Maroon 5 was their model. He is wearing Levi’s Capital E Stacked Skinny Jeans. It’s priced at about $180. Let’s forget the price for now. If I can’t wear a skinny jeans because of my huge hips from having 2 babies, eating rice and all my favorite dishes, then I’ll be damned if my husband can. No freaking way. LOL. Not only that, but unless you’re a British rocker still stucked in the 80’s or 70’s or whenever, please say NO to skinny jeans. I don’t care if you’re a front runner of a band and can very well afford a $180 jeans that needs to be dry cleaned coz if you wash this kind of jeans it will shrink, obviously. It is even stated in the Levi’s website:

A tight, skinny fit with a slightly low, pitched rise and riveted five-pocket styling. Leg is extra long to stack at the ankle. Our Golden Haze finish is dark, black-casted denim with a warm golden tint. Rigid Stretch is a dark warm shade of denim that’s tumbled for softness. Dry cleaning is recommended for Rigid Stretch. If washed, jeans will shrink approximately 1/2 inch in the waist and 2 inches in length.

Reading that quoted description, it’s just not practical no matter how you think your ass might look good in it. Sorry, but it’s a resounding NAY.

The Grey Cardigan Look

I saw this cardigan over a pinstriped shirt and dark jeans look while perusing my husband’s April issue of Men’s Health. I thought it was defintely stylin’ until my eye caught the little corner where it showed how much the cashmere cardigan is from Generra. It’s cashmere so it only make sense that it’s $350. You add $60 for the pinstriped shirt from Express and $65 for the slim jeans from Levi’s then you have a $475 outfit. Whewwww.

This is still a cashmere cardigan so if you prefer to wear cashmere you can still do so with this $149.50 from Land’s End.

I found a version of the stripes button-up shirt from GAP for only $39.50.

And this dark-wash boot cut leg jeans from OLD NAVY for only $29.50.

Shoes? Wear any of your canvas pair, like the Chuck Taylor’s. As long as it’s not orange or yellow . So which version would you wear, the $475 one or the affordable pieces I picked? Either way, I’m sure you’d look just as great as the model .

Vintage Levi’s Shirt

This textural patterned vintage dress shirt from Levi’s will look good over a solid color shirt and jeans. Unbuttoned or not. Oh you know what, wear it over one of those Banana Republic Polos. Nice eh?. Curious how much it is? It used to be $48, now it’s $10.98. DUDE, and I mean that in a very affectionate way, that is an AWESOME deal. From Levi’s no less. Great deals like these will be snatched right away so I suggest you get yours before it disappears.
