We’ve come to the last one of the 21 Principles of Iconic Style according to the September issue of Men’s Health magazine. Before we totally delve into what number 21 is, how about we do a refresher on what we tackled here at She Knows Best.

So, what’s # 21 you ask? Well, the proverbial yet most important thing a Man or any person for that matter in my opinion should have. MANNERS. Men’s Health magazine surveyed more than 2500 Men and Women to opine on the manners and etiquette issues. Let’s run through them shall we?

BOOST YOUR APPEAL
60% says good manners make a man more attractive.

CHECK YOURSELF
According to Women, most common traits of Men with bad manners are the following:

Ignorance — 72%
Raised Poorly — 66%
Selfish — 55 Percent
Two-Face — 52%

CHEW WITH YOUR MOUTH CLOSED
12% thinks a Man with bad manners is bad in bed, while 2% thinks otherwise. HUH?. Don’t ask me how chewing with your mouth closed was associated with bed/sex . LOL. But I do agree, CHEW WITH YOUR MOUTH CLOSED, please.

SHUT YOUR MOUTH
60% won’t trust gossipy Men. No shit, Sherlock. If a man gossips more than a woman, then the world has turned upside down .

WISE UP
74% are more attracted to older Men because they have better people skills(or fat wallet, *ahem*) . More women think Men finally ripen between the ages of 26-29. Heh, who are all these women?

RESTRAIN YOUR ROAD RAGE
57% of Men have flipped another driver the bird while 35% of Women has. I can explain this but I’ve decided not to lest I ire my fellow Women .

PAY UP
Women want their Men, respectively, to be good tippers. Again, who are these Women? If my Man gave a generous tip to a bad waiter I’d be snapping my fingers. Hah, go ask my husband. Well, I guess this is directed towards good waiters/waitresses, so I digress

GIVE THANKS
More Women prefer to hear those “please” and “thank-you” over notes.

PRACTICE GOOD BUSINESS
Worst business blunders are:

Arriving unprepared for a meeting
Being late for a meeting (late for anything is bad in my book)
Drinking too much at a business dinner or party
Sending e-mail w/ multiple typos or grammar errors
Sending obnoxiously large attatchments
Language or Inappropriate slangs for the workplace
Not returning phone calls right away
Sending obscene forwards or jokes

DROP THE PHONE
62% Women think drunken booty calls are a deal breaker, while only 27% of Men agreed.

BE NICE
Majority of women prefer manners over income or physical appearance in choosing a partner. If only this was true we’ll all be holding hands, singing Kumbaya……..

HOLD YOUR TONGUE
Male waiters will more likely mess with someone’s food than women waiters would. This is exactly why the PAY UP thing don’t work for me. I’d endure bad food and services coz I don’t want anybody spitting on my food. Hence a bad tip afterwards.

MAKE NICER WITH MOTHER
74% women would like it if they come first before Mom. 89% said a Man should talk to his Mom a couple of of time a week or less. I ain’t touching this one so you guys are on your own
