It the 2009 Men’s Fashion Guide, I mentioned how the trends are going to be bold, adventurous, colorful and masculine. Michael Kors‘ interpretation of those trends are quite literal and figurative. Here’s a preview of Michael Kors Spring 2009 collection.

All I can says is WOW in an interesting way and not WOW “I’m very impressed” way. The collection is OK. Michael Kors knows how to make a statement, no? His collection is just about as bold as it could get. He’s got tie-dyes, ombre, color combos, prints, a lot of white bottoms and floral shorts. I think he’s pretty much covered everything. It’s definitely spring.

I appreciate Michael Kors’ efforts in creating designs that I could actually see my husband (or YOU) wearing. It’s fine to come out with stuff meant for runway, perfectly squared-jawed models, and rich guys but it’s also nice to bring out something that a regular person could easily see themselves wearing.

Having said that, I don’t think the tie-dye, and colored pants are going to be present in my husband’s closet anytime soon, .

I quite like the D&G Dolce and Gabbana 2009 Resort Collection. You’ll find a combination of classic and casual wear compare to Armani Collezioni’s very tailored look.

Now that’s what I call Spring Fashion. There are colors involved, a sign of outdoors. Know what I mean? Khaki suit never hurts anyone. Pairing a leather jacket with cargo pants sure gives it a bit of playfulness. Spring is like the time of the year to air out your wardrobe. So seeing D&G 2009 resort collection is definitely very refreshing.

Ashton Kutcher In Red Suspenders and Looking Green

Ashton Kutcher epitomizes the adage, “once a model, always a model” . A regular person walking down Beverly Hills wearing green bomber jacket over a print tee with cuffed pants held by red suspenders would absolutely look lost. But not Ashton. He looks like he’s walking down the runway of a Spring Fashion Week Show with Demi Moore on his side . So I guess John Varvatos is right. Suspenders are back.

It seems John Varvatos is bringing back Suspender pants this Spring. I thought Steve Urkel retired the look but apparently not. Well, try to find solace on the fact that your pants aren’t plaid and high-waisted and not folded all the up to your knees, heh
