Have you guys been paying attention to all the Suits Guides that I’ve been compiling from Esquire’s The Handbook Of Style? You never know, you might get quizzed about them later . Next up, let me introduce you to the 3 Summer Suits you should familiarize yourself with.

White Suit

White Suit — match it with a patterned shirt and a modern necktie. Buy this white suit at Men’s USA for $149.

Seer Sucker Suit

Seer Sucker Suit — Make it modern by dressing it down by wearing a light-colored sweater underneath. Buy this seer sucker suit at JoS A Bank for $129.

Khaki Suit

Khaki Suit — this is probably the easiest suit to pull off out of the 3. Layering works with khaki suits. Think light sweater over a shirt and tie. Finish it off with a pocket square. Buy this khaki suit at JoS A Bank for $199.

The light colors and breathable fabrics of these summer suits are made to weather the hot days of summer in between May and September.

Sean Penn Likes His Monochromatic Suits

Stylists said monochromatic suits are supposed to be out this year. I say, who cares, right? Sean Penn is never shy in letting people know he really doesn’t care what people think of him. I highly doubt he pays attention to what’s in or out in Men’s Fashion this 2009 or any year for that matter.

Sean Penn wore a monochromatic suit during the Oscar’s. He’s wearing another one at the 34th Annual Cesar Awards. Let’s give the guy his much-deserved credit because he knows what he likes, and he’s sticking to it. And gosh darn it, he looks good.

The 4 Must-Have Suits

According to Esquire’s The Handbook Of Style, there are 4 essential suits that a Man should have in his wardrobe. These are : The Staple, The Spare, The Pinstripe, and The Bolder Check.

Navy Blue Suit

The Staple = Navy Blue Suit. It’s considered to be a classier suit than a black one. A navy blue suit has the qualities of a suit preferred for a formal buttoned-down business situations. $79 from Men’s Italy.

Light Gray Suit

The Spare = Light Gray Suit. For some variety, pick a light gray suit instead of the wintry flannel. $99 from Men’s Italy.

Pinstripe Suit

Glen Plaid Suit

Justin Timberlake Is Doing The Skinny

Justin Timberlake is doing the skinny tie that is . Oh alright, and Jessica Beil.. LOL. My husband just admitted to me the other day that he’d leave me for Jessica Beil if she’s offering. And it all started by be me saying “she’s hot, I like her booty“. . Anyhoooo, JT looks great in his black suit, skinny tie that has some kind of funky print on it and black wing tips, I’m assuming. I can’t really tell if it’s Oxfords but wing tips is the most ideal shoes for a suit and it slightly looks like it so I’m going for wing tips shoes. Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong of course .

So I’m guessing Justin Timberlake is not joining DETAILS on their ban of skinny ties anytime soon? Justin looks great in his skinny tie so I hope they’ll let him off the hook .

Tom Cruise and Will Smith : Friends In Gray Suits

Tom Cruise opted for heather gray suit with lilac sweater and striped necktie. But in other pictures I saw, I thought the sweater and tie were blue. Must be the lighting. Meanwhile, Will Smith wore a light gray suit with crimson shirt and solid tie. They both look great. I’m sure their ladies(Katie Holmes & Jada Pinkett-Smith), respectively, were proud . Tom and Will both showed how to make the sometimes boring gray by accenting it with bold color. Give your stylists a raise

Isaac Mizrahi Men’s Wear For Fall 2008

DNR shares that Isaac Mizrahi will be widening his Men’s Line in Fall 2008 with the inception of 2 tiers of products. First is the Designer collection tagged as Isaac Mizrahi New York which will be retailing in between $3,000 to $4,000. While the Diffusion line, simply labeled as Isaac Mizrahi, could cost you in between $800 to $1,200. Look for them in upscale department stores which will offer two tiers side by side since both lines are styled to compliment each other. The line will not be limited to just suits. It’s also extended to offering sportswear, and furnitures. Here’s to hoping Mizrahi’s second chance in developing his Men’s collection is more successful than the first time. He’s positive about it too stating, “The first time, I didn’t approach it from a product perspective. I had shows and drove people crazy, but I didn’t think about things like cut and value. Now I do,”
