The Tie Or Die Contest Winner Is..

Remember the Tie or Die contest between two friends/co-worker for the whole month of October that I told you about a few weeks ago? Well, the winner has been announced and it is…

…Ryan Brown. Total score was : Jon Fruman won 8 days while Ryan Brown won 14 days.

Ryan Brown was my pick from the beginning. He was more creative in incorporating other items in his outfits with the neckties. Items like blazers, cardigans, vests, hats, and even umbrellas. Not to mention the humorous accessories and poses which made me laughed out loud every time I visited the site.

Vote In The Tie Or Die Contest

One day, 2 friends/co-worker named Jon Fruman and Ryan Brown thought what if they wore a necktie everyday for the month of October? And to make it more interesting, let people vote on who wear the tie best. But first, they had to make rules and here they are :

* Contestant must wear a shirt with some sort of collar . (can’t pair a t-shirt and …read more

The Tie Bar

The Tie Bar

I can imagine it’s frustrating to search for neckties with a pattern that you like, can live with, and willing to spend money on. Most good ties would cost at about $50 and upwards. Once in a while you’ll find ones that are on sale and maybe around $35 to $40. The Te Bar is changing that game. They’re offering assorted neckties in different patterns which cost only $15 each. In some patterns, $20 for longer lengths.
Let me show example of The Tie Bar neckties in carious patterns.

Spring-fy Your Silk Neckties

Perk up your work wear by adding bright colors in your neckties. And when I say bright colors I don’t mean the neon kinds.
Brands like Ike Behar, Ted Barker and Robert Graham have a few spring colored silk neckties that I’m sure you would love.
I love the subtle hues of purple, pink, green, orange, and blues. The different patterns like wide and thin stripes, paisley, squares and diamonds also gives you a variety to chose from.
You can find these and more Ike Behar, Ted Barker, and Robert Graham spring silk neckties at Nordstroms.
