1. The Drop : This means the suit’s shape. If you hear the term “drop six” from a tailor that doesn’t mean he wants you to drop on the floor and give him 6 push ups. He is actually referring to the trouser waist size that’s 6  inches smaller than the chest. 

2. The Jigger : It’s the 1 single [always] fastened button in a double-breasted jacket.

3. Bosom Pocket : These are the pockets that are cut into the suit’s fabric. A flap usually covers the pockets.

4. Ticket Pocket : This is the 3rd pocket located above the side pocket of a suit’s jacket. It’s normally the on the right side. It usually has a flap as well.

5. Kissing Buttons : This shows how the cuffs are sewn to overlap the sleeves. Mostly found on expensive suits.

6. The Syce : This denotes the armhole. The size and shape which tells the jacket’s size.

A new X-Files movie is in town, hope you know that. The cast are frequenting the premieres and whatnots. The picture above is the look I’ve liked so far from David Duchovny. Even though his hair is all disheveled from this picture. At least the suit looks nice . I guess he is doing the skinny tie too huh? A smile would’ve been nice to show us he’s actually happy about another X-Files movie, heh.

Is it just me or is there something totally wrong with this metallic 3-piece suit that’s not really a 3-piece suit? Oh I don’t know, the jeans maybe? I guess in a way Emile Hirsch thought wearing the matching metallic pants would be going overboard. Well, everything shiny from top to bottom is overboard but why go for it in the first place? Why not just wear something dark like black or heather gray and go for the entire 3-piece suit. I’m just confused with the idea of a tuxedo jacket, vest and white crisp shirt with jeans. Maybe if the Speed Racer star nixed the jacket, I wouldn’t be so confused this Monday morning.

Mark Consuelos is probably one of the most metrosexual guy out there. He knows he looks good and he nurtures it. You could just tell when you’re looking at him. I happened to have been watching him for years and years now being that he used to be in one of my favorite soap operas. So yes, In a way I’m not surprise that he looks great in casual clothes, and he looks even more dapper in suits. Some guys just have that innate quality in them, know what I mean? Mark Consuelos is one those guys. Plus he’s a great guy, a husband and a father. What more could Kelly Ripa (us) ask for?

Well, it’s nice to know Kevin Federline is spending Britney Spears’ money real well. In designer suits. I mean Brit Brit’s ex-hubby doesn’t have to work, no child support to pay (except the kids he has with that other woman, where he gets the money, hmmm??), he doesn’t even have to pay court costs. It doesn’t matter to him how many times he has to wake-up early for another court appointment. Britney Spears pays for everything. As usual, HEH!

But yes, at least he’s buying nice suits for brief appearances here and there just to remind people, hey, K-Fed is still here. Papazao ain’t going anywhere. Nice suit and tie K-Fed!! Nice diamond stud earrings too.

I just had an epiphany. Since most of Britney’s employees are family members anyway, starting with her Dad/Conservator who gets paid at least $2500/week,  maybe she should hire Kevin as her stylist. hehehehe! Keep it in the family right? =P

Tom Cruise opted for heather gray suit with lilac sweater and striped necktie. But in other pictures I saw, I thought the sweater and tie were blue. Must be the lighting. Meanwhile, Will Smith wore a light gray suit with crimson shirt and solid tie. They both look great. I’m sure their ladies(Katie Holmes & Jada Pinkett-Smith), respectively, were proud . Tom and Will both showed how to make the sometimes boring gray by accenting it with bold color. Give your stylists a raise
