I’m talking about the skinny tie that Jonathan Rhys Myers is wearing. I love everything that Jonathan is wearing. Even the way he styled his hair. Very dapper, very reminiscent of the early days of Frank Sinatra. Ooh sexy. But I’m not to sure about his long and skinny tie. Too long and too skinny, don’t you think?

David Beckham Is Doing The Skinny With His Vest

And when I say David Beckham is doing the skinny, I’m not referring to his wife Victoria Beckham. Well yeah of course, but I’m talking about his dotted skinny neck tie instead . It’s been a while since I featured David Beckham here at SKB. This is a recent picture of him that he’s the only one in it, well except an appearance from Eva Longoria Parker, behind David is Posh, you can see a peek of her blue stilettos .

Anyhooo, I’m not much for half-tucked shirt but David is working it here. He looks good either way. Scruffy face and all. Loving his rolled up shirt sleeves, black vest, skinny neck tie and jeans look. Men’s casual wear that only a few could pull off well. David Beckham pretty much takes the top spot.

DETAILS On Skinny Ties | Yay or Nay??

DETAILS is calling for the end of skinny ties. Frankly, they’re tired of the Skinny, narrow, slender, however you want to call them. Why? Well, because everybody is wearing it. I guess I could understand the reason behind it. Kinda like when that chick whom we shall call Sienna Miller started the damn leggings underneath “everything” trend. Now everyone is doing it. Lindsay Lohan can’t stop. But then again, comparing Skinny Ties with the Hollywood Starlets’ sickeningly obsession with leggings(the footless kind) is a little over the top. Not everyone looks good in leggings but some Men look good sporting their skinny ties on. Like Chase Crawford.

DETAILS wrote an interesting piece about the end of skinny ties. Interestingly enough, the magazine’s Jan/Feb issue’s cover was High School Musical Heartrob Zac Efron and he was wearing a skinny tie with his black on black ensemble. Hmmmm….

What’s my take on the down with the skinny ties campaign? I’m in between. Whatever makes you feel good. Skinny Ties are harmless compare to all the obnoxiously avant-garde clothes those huge designers showcase at the Fashion Week Runways that they expect you to wear in your everyday life. Know what I mean?
