Sean Penn wore a monochromatic suit during the Oscar’s. He’s wearing another one at the 34th Annual Cesar Awards. Let’s give the guy his much-deserved credit because he knows what he likes, and he’s sticking to it. And gosh darn it, he looks good.

Now, let’s see what Godfried is weearing.

This first look, Godfried went to a Fashion pre party and here’s the breakdown of what he’s wearing :

Shoes – Steve Madden
Jeans – Rock and Republic
White shirt – Express Men
Buttoned vest – Express Men
Blazer – Express Men
Pocket Square – Nordstroms
Glasses – Dolce and Gabanna

My first impression? Godfried is wearing a blue pocket square. I love it. I’ve noticed that only a few Men are rocking that accessory. When they do, it’s mostly on formal days. Godfried is sporting a casual event wear and I give him props for incorporating that pocket square into it. Great job!

In this second look, Godfried is celebrating his birthday :

Jeans – Rock and Republic

Buttoned Vest – Express Men
Black Velvet Blazer – Express Men
White pocket square – Nordstroms
Glasses – Prada
Tie Clip – Kenneth Cole
Black Narrow tie – Calvin Klein

Again with the pocket squares but in white this time around. He’s wearing a velvet blazer too. You gotta give major props to a man who can rock a velvet blazer.

I’m going to assume that Godfried bought those pocket squares in different colors. A practice that any shopaholics out there know it must be done when deals are right in front of him/her .  

Pocket squares may seem so insignificant to some people but in Fashion, details are very important. Anyone is capable of looking great. The minute details that you add to your daily looks will show your personality and fashion identity. So never underestimate details like pocket squares.

Nick Lachey looks really cute in his casual travel attire with this blue plaid shirt, jeans and boots. I don’t mean to be errrr, naughty, but I think I’ve actually seen his ex-wife Jessica Simpson wear the same kind of outfits a few times, heh. It’s ok because Nick looks so much better, hahaha.

For someone who just got off of the plane, his hair looks perpetually made up. Nick Lachey definitely knows how to travel. He knows that the papz will be waiting for him to take this picture so in order to maintain his Hollywood handsomeness after a flight, he puts on sunglasses. An Aviator pair which pretty much makes up for the plaid shirt.

Sunglasses, they’re the best travel accessory in the world.

To complement Angelina Jolie’s goddess looking Max Azria dress, Brad Pitt wore a 3-piece Tom for Suit at the recently concluded 14th Critic’s Choice Awards.

To the suit mafias out there, you know who you are , Brad Pitt’s vest has 6 buttons, and the last one was unbuttoned. A silk tie completed the crispy white dress shirt. They both look very regal, don’t they?

This picture actually reminds me of their wax statues at Madame Tussaude’s wax museum. It’s a little bizarre when the wax versions look like the real human beings. But then again, we’re talking about Brangelina here. They both look good, real, fake or otherwise .

If you’re going to sport a beard this year, I hope you look as good as Keanu Reeves, heh. See, I didn’t particularly like Prince William’s beard, but I’m liking Keanu Reeves’ beard. Not all Men can pull off a facial hair. It’s kinda like the skinny jeans. Some Women, present company included (ME) must really stay away from them. Know what I mean?

Factors that matter when it comes to beard are age, facial features, and even complexion. A blonde beard ala Prince William only really works for well, the big guy in the red suit. We call him Santa Clause. Prince William just looked too disturbingly scruffy. Compare to Keanu Reeves’ beards which adds another level to his sex appeal. He looks like one of the bad boys Mothers warn their daughters to stay away from but oh so dangerously sexy and handsome and probably a softie  on the inside . 

What I’m trying to say is, Keanu Reeves looks good with a beard while Prince William doesn’t. The difference is like night and day.

Here is Prince William sporting a beard when he and the royal family attended a Christmas Mass. While I absolutely love his dark navy double breasted coat, and purple necktie, I’m not too sure about Prince William’s facial hair. It makes him look mature but you could tell his boyish looks are not far gone yet. It’s still there except it’s being covered with hair.

Personally, I prefer a clean shaven Prince . I don’t like all that beard on his face. He looks dashing in that double-breasted coat though, doesn’t he? I think Prince William needs to be groomed before 2009 hits the calendar. Unless of course he prefers to be scruffy. If that’s the case then I guess I’ll just have to live with it .

At the movie screening of “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” in New Orleans, Lousiana, Brad Pitt looked mighty dapper in his Tom Ford suit. Not only did he wear a Tom Ford suit, he wore a checkered necktie with a plaid shirt underneath.

If that’s isn’t a brave fashion move from Brad Pitt, I don’t know what is. I could bend sideways a million times and try to say something bad about it but like my husband said, Brad Pitt is 40, he is fit, looking good like that, who gives a crap about the combination of plaid and checkered prints? He’s got a point. Then I added, “Plus he’s with Angelina Jolie”. Well, there you go.

I’m looking forward to seeing the movie. It looks very interesting. Not to mention Brad Pitt is actually such a great actor so I can’t wait to see his portrayal of this intriguing character.

Remember the days when Kid Rock would show up with a white shirt, and baggy pants? What about the time when he’d walk around with a fur long coat in a 95° weather during award shows? Those were really strange days.

Here’s Kid Rock looking nice and stylish if I say so myself in a black leather jacket over a black tee, jeans and boots. With what seems like Aviators for accessories and black Fedora. Like seriously, when was the last time you saw Kid Rock looking tidy and fashionable? It’s about freaking time. It’s not like an A-Ha moment but it would do.

There’s nothing wrong with Colin Farrell liking his Fedora a lot. Especially since he looks good in it no matter what kind of clothes he’s wearing. Take for example the picture above which shows Colin sporting a blue shirt and pinstripes vest ensemble.

Then take a look at the second picture where he’s wearing a V-Neck shirt. And I mean plunging V-neck shirt. Or is it an unbutton short?

Either way, at least he’s familiar with shaving .

Good thing I have a good eye when it comes to faces, coz with all that facial hair, I almost didn’t recognize Adrien Brody. His nose was a giveaway…LOL. I know that nose a mile away, hehe. Adrien looks so different with all that hair on his face. He’s still handsome of course, but I prefer clean shaven Men, heh. A little bit of facial is not bad, but if you almost look half-way like Fidel Castro then that’s a different story.

It’s most probably for a movie though so he’ll shave pretty soon. Well, hopefully anyway. Nice black on black ensemble though .
