Well, for good fitting jeans and shorts anyway. And maybe for Men’s shirts. Frankly, I have been so disappointed with their Women’s line. Their Men’s line is another story. OLD NAVY is still one of the places to go for affordability and comfort when it comes to Men’s wardrobe. So I went there(online) to investigate what they have for Cargo Shorts. I’m searching for a good fit, right length, roomy, no fuss no frills cargo pants for my dear Hubby. My first stop was Lucky Brand Jeans but I’m only postitive on one item so OLD NAVY is my next stop.

Cargo Shorts From Lucky Brand Jeans

My husband has lost a lot of weight since last year so his cargo shorts(along with pants and everything else) don’t fit him anymore. We’ve taken care of the jeans/pants and shirts part but haven’t done anything about the shorts. Since it’s officially Summer, it’s time to find him new ones. He actually needed one last Sunday for our Father’s Day trip at the park but he didn’t have a pair that fits. Now I’m on a mission to find him cargo shorts that fit. He’s very picky when it comes to shorts. As well he should be . The fit, length, leg-room space, cut and of course the look/style/design aspects too. No fuss, no frills cargo shorts that fit and looks good.

Luckily, there’s Lucky Brand Jeans waiting on the horizon . I found a couple from their store that I think my husband might like. Well I hope so anyway .

This pair is called Brigade Cargo Short. The color is not bad and it does look a little bit roomy.

Who doesn’t own a camo print cargo shorts? If you don’t, well it’s time to get one . This Camo Militia Cargo Short is in distressed linen. It looks like it has a lot of room and lots of pockets.

The second pair might get his thumbs up approval. Well, that’s 1 cargo short down right? I better go find some more.

It’s getting warmer and warmer everyday. My family is planning on visiting the pool at the Air force Base near us a lot this Summer and the also planned on visiting a swimming Lake that we’ve discovered 2 years back. It was still in the process of being developed 2 years ago but is now open to everybody. So yes, I’ve been shopping for cool swim shorts for the hubby. His old one is too big and very much faded. I found a few from Macys.com :

Speedo Tribal Tattoo Board Shorts. I really like the tatt00 graphic on the side. This also comes in Smoke Blue amd Stone colors. On sale for $24.99.

The cargo pocket of this Club Room Athletic Swim Short is very nifty. I actually like the solid color of the short itself. This also comes in black, navy and stone colors. AND, on sale for only $19.99.

Second on the list of shoe styles for the Summer is the Dress Sandals. Perfect for wearing with a good pair of jeans , cargo shorts or trousers. So here are some of our picks for you guys.

This double-strap leather sandal is from Skechers. It has a padded insole and rubber sole for comfort level. This $58 dress sandal also comes in chocolate color.

Black leather criss cross bands straps from Kenneth Cole. With smooth lining and contoured and cushioned footbed surely makes it worth $99.99. I suggest wearing this with a linen trouser or just regular khakis.

For a luxury item, I mean like $224.99 worth from Gordon Rush. With 1/4 inch flat heel, this dark brown leather sandal has stitched accents as well as flat traction leather outsole. It’s made from Italy so hey, it’s quality

Shoe Styles For The Summer : Beach Sandals

AskMen.com has compiled a list of what style of shoes the fellas should be wearing this Summer. And they are : beach sandals, dress sandals, athletic shoes and casual slip ons. We’ve pretty much covered most of them here but I felt like shopping, window shopping that is, to show you guys many options for each shoe style. Hey, that’s what SBK and I are here for .

BEACH SANDALS :

This Reef Fanning sandal is $50.95 from Zappos. It has herringbone rubber outsole with 360 degree heel airbag. One of the reviews stated that they get dry so easily because of the neoprene material in it. The same material used in wetsuits. It comes in different colors like: green, green/white/black, brown/plaid, black/silver, just to name a few.

Forget the plastic flip-flops. Go for the woven kinds. This is another one from Reef with tan leather straps and nylon backing. Also with a matte footbed and a crepe rubber outsole. Eastbay is selling it for $37.99.

How about a Canvas flip-flop that only costs $12.99? The treaded soles are perfect for a walk in the dock or the boardwalk.
