“I wonder what Jean Claude Van Damme is up to these days”, was the question I posted to my husband last weekend on what seem to have been a Jean Claude Van Damme movie marathon on TV. I remember my brother and I watching his movies when we were younger. Van Damme kicked ass.

Imagine my surprise when my question was answered earlier this week. Jean Claude Van Damme is doing rounds at the 2008 Cannes Festival. Here he is with his wife Gladys. He’s aging well, no? A few lines here and there but that’s to be expected. And I must say, he’s still looking fit. Don’t know if I like his white suit ensemble but since I thought he’s retired and moping around in some obscure location last weekend, I’ll cut him some slacks. Besides, Jean Claude Van Damme still kicks ass in my book .

Actually, make that A white suit and Fedora Hat combo only Steven Tyler SHOULD do. Down to the accessories. Well except the aviators. YOU should get a pair of those cool and sexy sunglasses . And maybe the white scarf too, but other than that, leave this suit look with Steven Tyler.

Hugh Jackman back in April of this year shooting a Baz Lurhmanepic, Australia sporting a mustache. One of the commenters from the Just Jared site where I found this picture said that this reminds him of Clark Gable. I AGREE! It actually sent me goosebumps when I saw the picture. Clark Gable was the first name that came to mind. Apparently some people thought so too.

Well it’s now December and the shooting of the movie is done so the mustache is gone. He’s now sporting a clean shaven look with a little scruffiness on the chin. Take a looksie….

Don’t be alarmed with his graphic tee, cargo shirts and sneakers ensemble. It’s summer in Australia this time of year . A nice casual wear on a day out in Sydney. That smile just kills me. Let’s go ask The Daily Tee guys where we could find the graphic tee Hugh Jackman is wearing. I’ve seen it before but the name escapes me at this moment so I’m going to ask the experts help . Mike, Rangga, anyone?

Anyway, going back to Hugh’s two different looks, I like both. The mustache look with vintage white suit and bow-tie resonates the classic styles that I so admire and love from the likes of Clark Gable and Cary Grant. The clean shaven casual look is just another appeal to Hugh’s kick-ass personality. 2 different yet stylish looks, albeit one is from a movie, which validates why Hugh Jackman is one of my 50 Stylish Men List.

So, mustache or clean shaven?
