Bontoni is the bespoke Italian shoemaker and ready-to-wear Italian dress shoes. The style of Bontoni is a combination of past and present. With a touch of simplicity and sophistication. At the their humble workshop in Marchie region of Italy, Bontoni only creates 7-10 pairs a day as each pairs take 12 weeks to finish. With their exceptional handcrafting techniques it takes almost 4 hours long to color each pair. In the span of 3 years, Bontoni expanded their product distribution by reaching out to US retailers namely, Bergdorf Goodman Men, Wilkes Bashford, Stanley Korshak, Mario’s, Lawrence Covell, Louis, Gary’s, Wayne Edwards and Battaglia. A direct client service is still upheld in Italy which could cost around $3500 while the ready-to-wear collection found in major US retailers could cost between $995-$1550.
Bontoni is competing in price range with the likes of John Lobb(Hermes) and Berluti but the bespoke Italian shoe wear maintains it’s direct service to clients in Italy. Visit the Bontoni website to read more about it and be part of the quality Bontoni is highly proud of.
