Hugh Jackman Likes His Fedora
Fedora, they’re everywhere. You see them on top of celebrity heads a lot. Hugh Jackman, Brad Pitt, Zac Efron, Johnny Depp, Colin Farell, Justin Timberlake, just to name a few. If you are wondering whether you should follow this trend, here are some tips from a few experts about wearing a Fedora.
Kevin Harter, Bloomingdale’s Men’s Fashion : Director : a false tip, a clumsy doff, or an incorrect fit can render your cap dunced. ……… Shape, size, and positioning make all the difference: A fedora shouldn’t be perched high on your crown or squashed down on your brow. It should frame your eyes but not hide your face.

What I hate about celebrities sporting the fedora, is that every joe out there thinks he can too. And it usually turns out bad.
His zipper is undone…
This picture is probably not the best example…
But that aside, Some men like Frank Sinatra have made the fedora more than just a common headpiece. Wear the hat. Don’t let the hat wear you.
The fedora is a very tricky accessory and is RARELY pulled off well. It takes the right person with the right style and attitude to make it look the least bit chic. If not done properly, you will just end up looking like you’re trying too hard. Let’s leave the fedoras for Justin Timberlake and John Gotti.
Quite honestly, I think the fedora is kind of passe and frankly, I’m sick of seeing it.

Any man can look good in a fedora. Consider that there was a time that literally every man wore one. The key is to find the right shape and fit for one’s face and body proportions, as well as choosing color and fabric to complement one’s clothing (and the season).
