Ed Westwick: Facial Hair Or Clean-Shaven?

Last April of this year, Ed Westwick aka Chuck Bass of Gossip Girl, sported a slight facial hair. It wasn’t as drastic as other Hollywood Men who have decided to have facial hair at one time or another.

He looked ok. It’s kinda weird coz mos of the time a slight facial hair would give a Man an edgy or rough “persona”. I don’t see it on Ed Westwick. I think it’s because he doesn’t need it. He’s already got it.

Ironically enough, there’s something dangerous in his clean-shaven look. I think I’ve been watching too much Gossip Girl, ha. All he needs pretty much is to continue wearing his designer suits and shiny designer shoes, then keep saying, “I’m Chuck Bass, You Europeans should know who that is” and I’m sold that he has a dangerous side. It’s funny though because Ed Westwick has a European accent. I’m hoping he’d use it in one of the episodes but that would just be wishful thinking.

Johnny Depp, 2009 People’s Sexiest Man

Thank God it’s Johnny Depp who took home the coveted *ahem* PEOPLE Magazine Sexiest Man Alive for 2009. This makes it second for Mr. Johnny Depp. The title went to him back in 2003. He joins the list of 2-time winners George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

I said “Thank God” above because frankly I am not into this whole Twilight “I would die for Robert Pattinson” hoopla. I don’t find him cute at all. But of course teenagers do and some adults too but he’s really not my type. Robert Pattinson is of course part of this year’s list but his rebel or devil may care “image” has all been done before. James Dean is the most recognizable one. But definitely, Johnny Depp is the one who has that image as well. And well deservingly so because he is it to the T.

In any case, Ryan Reynolds took the 2nd spot, Jake Gyllenhaal for the 3rd, Bradley Cooper for the 4th, Robert Downey JR for the 5th, Becks is 6th, Gilles Marini is 7th, GLEE guys took the 8th spot, Nick Cannon for the 9th, Adam Lambert (American Idol) took the 10th. John Cho (Harold of Harold and Kumar) is 11th, Daughtry is 12th, Jerry O’Connell is 13th, John Legend is 14th, and Robert Pattinson is 15th.

But where’s my Chuck Bass, I mean Ed Westwick? Hmmmm

David Beckham Sports A Hairy Face

If George Clooney is handsomely sporting a white and gray hair color nowadays, David Beckham is growing hair on his face. On the sideburns and under the chin.

I can’t even believe it when I saw that picture. David was buckling up after what seems like a party up there in Bungalow 8. I guess I haven’t been paying much attention to The Beck’s lately. Sorry.

I must admit that at first I though “hmmm, I don’t know”. But then after a few minutes of intently looking at David’s face, it grew on me. It’s not that bad actually. He’s giving me that “rugged-suave” look on the first picture. It’s “rugged-casual” on the second one where David is stylishly casual in his plaid shirt, jeans boots, cardigan and the knit cap.

But then again, this is David Beckham we are talking about here. He’d look good in just his underwear on. Oh wait, he does. In Armani no less .

George Clooney’s White/Gray Hair

At the Photocall for “Mr. Fox” in London, George Clooney looked mighty handsome, like he usually does, in his grey suit with a blue button-down striped shirt. Mr. Clooney is also sporting, proudly I might add, his white/gray hair.

He could almost looked ashy there but he is definitely making it work. Don’t you think? The grey is mostly on the top, while the white hair are nicely laid down on the sides. Maybe his hair was done this way for the movie but either way, George is dapper whether he has black or white/gray hair color. It adds up to his already sexy, suave and Cary Grant appeal.

So, to George Clooney, 2 thumbs up on the hair, and suit as well.

Get Penn Badgley’s New Balance Sneakers

Although I didn’t like Penn Badgley’s rugged look in his white t-shirt and jeans outfit, I like his blue sneakers. It was the only thing that save him from a major fashion scolding, hah. From my close inspection, I concluded that it’s New Balance Classics U420.

Who Wore The White Shirt The Best?

I love a man who wears a basic white t-shirt and jeans. Simple yet clean, refreshing and it’s pretty much a classic casual look for any Men. A lot of celebrities sure have pulled this look effortlessly and made a lot of women swoon. Yes, present company included.

2 Hollywood Men tried the look today. Penn Badgley from Gossip Girl and James Lautner from Twilight movie. One of them looked great, the other one was, well… you’ll see.

James Lautner wore his white t-shirt and jeans combo for a Cool (Wet) magazine photoshoot in Malibu beach. Talk about a Wet T-Shirt moment, hah.

Penn Badgley

Penn Badgley wore his own white t-shirt and jeans combo plus a knit cap around Chelsea in New York City with girlfriend Blake Lively.

Now don’t get me wrong, I actually like Penn but not today. All I could think of after seeing the picture was, “get a shower dude“. Or maybe join James down there in Malibu beach.

Who do you think wore the white T-Shirt the best? I know I know, James was in a photoshoot. I’ve seen other Men wear white shirt before and they were not in photoshoots. They looked way much better than Penn that’s for sure. Now I’m a little pissed because I thought anyone would look good in a white shirt. Judging from Penn’s picture, apparently not. Oh well, maybe some other time. I dig his blue sneakers though.

A-Rod Goes Casual For A Date

When I first saw this picture of A-Rod in a casual get-up for his date with Kate Hudson and her son Ryder, I thought “oh he looks good“. That’s because I thought he was wearing a v-neck sweater over the check button-down polo shirt. It turns out, it’s actually a hoodie.

I mean for a non-fashion nitpicker unlike yours truly, A-Rod looks fine. Eh who cares that he was wearing a hoodie over a check/plaid print button down shirt, grey trousers and black leather loafers. But ideally, I would have preferred if it was a v-neck sweater. Kinda like how Daniel Craig did it. I know I know, A-Rod was in a more casual setting than Daniel Craig. But a hoodie with trouser? Argggh.

In any case, he looked ok and I’m sure he and Kate Hudson along with Ryder had good dinner.

Hugh Jackman In A Gray Suit

I don’t care what anybody says, Hugh Jackman is HOT! . The guy can pretty much wear anything, or nothing at all, hah. He can transform himself from an ass-kicking Wolverine last summer to this toned guy in a gray suit.

If Wolverine wore this cut of suit this past Summer, he would have been busing out if it. Not that the ladies would have any problems at all about that, hehe. Hugh Jackman was all muscles while playing the character. He looked HOT in a “I will kick your ass” kind of way but this time around, he looks very suave and debonair.

I give also give him props for going with a pale blue shirt, and a darker shade of necktie. The lace-up oxfords need some shining but it’s ok. We’ll give Hugh a break on the department since he made up for it with his black sunnier and the overall handsome look. I don’t know where he is going with his “Man-Purse” but Hugh Jackman definitely means business.

Where does Twilight star Kellan Lutz shops for casual clothes? Well, he was spotted shopping at ZARA a few days ago. Here is Kellan Lutz wearing a dark brown long sleeves shirt, denims and a gray newsboy cap while shopping.

Interestingly enough, Kellan is surrounded by stripes and colors at the Zara store while he is wearing the basic solid colors. He was also wearing black boots by the way. Kellan had gray, brown, dark blue and black on that day. He sure seems like he is ready for Fall.

Although I feel like throwing a pop of bright colors in his outfit, heh. He looks fine. I hope he bought one of the stripes shirts though.

Micky Rourke Likes To ‘Vest’ Around

Mickey Rourke sure loves his vest collection. Judging by these pictures from July 21st and July 23rd of course.

He seems to be loving the attention his guns (muscles) are attracting too. Gotta love Rourke’s sense of humor on the whole thing. Did you catch the white belt on the first picture. That accessory amuses me for some reason. I think it’s because I could actually see MYSELF cinching a black dress with it. Hey, a style is a style, right?

What do you think about his chains? Necklace and belt accents? I wish he’d take the cig away from his mouth though. Oh well.
