The Local Firm was conceptualized using the 1920 Bauhaus movement as the collection’s inspiration. It’s “contrast of status” design features distinctive garments and materials to create and provide distinguishing contrast from one another.

Here are the Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 Collection Preview. The latter’s collection is actually the 4th collection from The Local Firm’s designers.

All of these were from Designers Axel Nyhage and Richard Hutchinson. They’re mostly known from other brands namely Acne Jeans, Whyred and Tiger of Sweden. Prices of The Local Firm collection starts from $95 to $545. “The Local Firm”, the brand’s name sure sounds distinctive, and bold. If you look at the Fall collection, it has that clean, kind of preppy with an edge look. For some crazy reason, I am getting a style flashback of Christian Bale in the movie American Psycho. I’m just talking about the style vibe of course, not the premise of the movie. You know what I mean?

Bergdorf Goodman July 15th Men's Sale

Really great sale prices considering how expensive the brands being sold at Bergdorf Goodman. Like an Armani Collezioni Washed Blazer that is now on sale for $501 when it used to be $835. Nacho Figueras was born in Born in Argentina in 1977. He started playing the game of Polo at the age of 9. His professional Polo careers started when he was 17. The American Museum of Natural History asked Figueras to donate his Polo equipment for their 2008-1009 exhibit. Figueras and his wife Delfina Blaquier has two kids, Hilario (9) and Aurora (4).

I think it’s safe to assume that Andrew Christian knows how to promote his collection. The “Show-It” line has a comfy cup that gently lifts and help enhance a man’s best assets. It comes in brief, boxer-brief, jock underwear styles and swim trunks and even bikini cuts.

Well I hope Martin, Kevin, and Max from Sweden help with the sales.

Just Cavalli, Miley Cyrus’ “special friend” just finished shooting ads for  the worldwide campaign of Just Cavalli Spring 2009. The newcomer from Vision Model Management agency landed the job and shared it with Supermodel Kate Moss.

Both models shot the ads in Los Angeles by famed photographer Mert & Marcus.

Great for Justin. He’s making waves on his own. Hopefully soon, people (present company included) would stop referring to him as Miley Cyrus’ “special friend” .

Who else is excited to see the Just Cavalli ads with Justin Gaston and Kate Moss?

I have never drooled and then whistled over Men’s shoes. Ever. Well, why would I? Ferragamo may have an extensive list of shoes deserving of my oohs and ahhs but since I’m a typical woman shoeholic, I drool over Christian Louboutin, Manolo Blahnik or Jimmy Choo heels. Until today. 

I saw this genuine alligator oxfords from Mezlan and I am head over heels in love. I heard birds chirping and saw the mini-hearts dancing in front of my eyes. Too much exaggeration but you know what I mean . Pardon my descriptive’s Gentlemen but dang if that is not one GORGEOUS alligator oxfords. A slight gloss on top but not uber-shiny. It’s just one of the many shoes included in the Mezlan’s Fall 2008 Collection.

The price is gorgeous too. It’s $995. *Whistles*. Well good thing it’s a Man’s shoes coz you’d be carting me off out of here due to depression brought upon by not being able to afford a pair of high-end Men’s Shoes..LOL.

Manolo Blahnik, the infamous shoe designer who became such a household name among the women shoeholics who were obsessed with HBO’s Sex and The City is showing off his purple socks paired with red flats. While most women in the world would absolutely die for a $400 (+) pair of Manolo Blahnik stilettos, Manolo himself would be content wearing red flats in the Sex and The City DVD launch event. A party for a DVD launch? Apparently so. I love SATC but I’m scratching my head as well. Oh well.

Now we know how Manolo Blahnik rolls, hehe .
