Diwon is couture, edgy, luxurious and opinionated. Words alone should never be enough when describing Diwon. We convey a feeling, a presence so strong and yet so ephemeral. It’s the aura that emanates from our decadent pieces that defines the Diwon Man.
Diwon exude’s imperialist flare, aristocratic attitude, the untaught honor and unlearned dignity of trendsetters. The innate sense of sovereignty, resonating from within, and emanating without. Diwon is fashionably ruthless, our pieces provide an alter-ego that speaks to their desires for authority and freedom.
All aspects refined, everything pure and exquisite, Diown man appreciates the fine-tuning and precision involved in fashion. Every piece is analyzed section by section, taken apart and put back together, thus achieving legitimate luxury, ready for close scrutiny. Whether it’s their handmade suits and dress shoes or sneakers and jackets, everything is perfected through their obsession to detail.

It has been a while, maybe a couple of months or so since the last time Brad Pitt was featured here at She Knows Best.

Brad Pitt At Cannes

Brad Pitt
Is there any doubt how handsome Brad Pitt looks? Albeit I don’t get the grey scarf combined with the light brown (almost light pink) colored suit, white unbuttoned shirt, brown and black cap-toe loafers. I really don’t get the grey scarf, but he still looks elegant and dapper with a modern glamour twist added into style.
These pictures of Brad Pitt were taken at Cannes by the way.

Let me rephrase that title. “Tony Stark goes back to work”. Oh wait, It’s actually Robert Downey Jr.

Robert Downey Jr
Ah, who cares what name I call him. Iron Man, Tony Stark, or Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man 2 production started a few days ago and that’s the most important things. Everyone involve are working. From the huge stars all the way to the food caterer, heh.
My husband and I noticed right away from this picture that Robert Downey Jr looks really toned. Just look at his silhouette. It looks like Tony Stark will be sporting a goatee and smoking cigars too.

Every year Neiman Marcus picks the Spring Trends for Men. The tradition continues. Here are the Neiman Marcus 6 Spring Trends Picks of 2009.

NM Spring Trend : Pop Of Colors
POP OF COLORS — I briefly discussed the trend of colors on the 2009 Fashion Guide last January. The bright colors of blues, green, oranges and others are going to be popping up this year.

NM Spring Trends : Neutrals
NEUTRALS — Of course the pop of colors can’t be from top to bottom or it wouldn’t be a “pop” anymore. It’s best to incorporate them with neutrals.

NM Spring Trends : Soft Jackets
SOFT JACKETS — This is kinda given right? You can’t possibly wear a heavy jacket on a warm weather. There’s a Spring breeze but it’s not winter cold, heh.

NM Spring Trends : Sneakers
SNEAKERS — You’ll have a pick of neutrals or colors.

NM Spring Trends : Straight Leg Jeans
STRAIGHT LEG DENIM — Perhaps a way to end the skinny jeans trend? Just asking, heh.

NM Spring Trend : Retro Sunglasses
RETRO SUNGLASSES — Just stick with the classic colors of black, gray and brown. If you try white, Kanye West might sue you, hehe.

GQ’s Most Stylish Kid: Arlo Weiner

Arlo Weiner is the son of the hit show “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner. GQ just dubbed him The Most Stylish Kid.

Most Stylish Kid : Arlo Weiner
Arlo Weiner started showing his penchant for fashion at an early age of 3. He first asked for a top hat. His fashion has evolved through out the years. He had since asked his parents for ascots, striped bow ties, velvet jackets, and madras pants. Arlo Weiner is only 8 years old. Um, Yeah. Arlo’s style is mix matching bright colors and different patterns. I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s part of Fashion Week in the near future because he plans on designing his own clothes once his Mom buys him a sewing machine. You’ll be surprised to know that jeans and shirts are not his thing. Well, I wouldn’t think so
.
After looking at Arlo Weiner’s different looks accompanied by his own words describing his looks, I am more convinced than ever that I have been a terrible mother to my almost 11 yr. old kid. Darn It!
Gentlemen, are you shaking in your Chuck Taylor’s yet?

Would You Wear Yellow?
March 10, 2009 by Dexie Wharton

I am always “preaching” on the fact that Real Men Wear Pink. How about yellow? How good is the color yellow on a Man?

Nautica Yellow Shirt
This Nautica yellow shirt ($59.50) doesn’t look bad. Have you ever thought about going beyond your black, grey, white, blue, red, and brown shirts? There are still Men out there who would rather not wear pink colored shirts. If you’re one of those guys, how about venturing out to the yellow color?
Yellow is supposed to be a “neutral” color. As a matter of fact, Pregnant Moms who don’t know the gender of their babies opt for yellow colors to be safe. Yellow could be for a girl and a boy as well.
Yellow is not that bad of a color for a Man. Just make sure it’s not fluorescent yellow of course. Try something subtle instead.

Tropical Prints : Bad & Good Examples
March 7, 2009 by Dexie Wharton

Tropical Print is one of those Spring and Summer prints that you really need to be careful of due to it’s boldness and color. Some designers go overboard with the combining the colors that some shirts end up looking like Grama’s couch from way back in the 60’s.
Let me start with the bad examples of Tropical Print shirts.

Orange Leaves-Floral Print

Paisley Print
[1st] Bright orange is really not a good color on anyone. [2nd] Paisley print done excessively can be so traumatic on you and the ones who has no choice but to stand right next to you.
