Old Spice Red Zone Body Wash Impression

I introduced 2 new products from Old Spice a week ago and one one of them is the Old Spice Red Zone Body Wash. When I opened the bottle the first thought that came to mind was, “Whoa blue”. I touched the little residue on top and it was really foamy. And not foamy like it would disappear like soapy foam. It actually made me think of chocolate mousse. Except it’s blue and it’s a body wash .

Scent wise? first sniff, it was mild. Nothing to attack your nostrils as you would expect from an uber-blue foamy bath wash. From a Man’s perspective, check out my husband’s review of Old Spice Red Zone Body Wash at Health and Men.

Shine To Go Review

I’m a little late in posting a review for Shine To Go, so I apologize. I gave the samples to my brother-in-law whom I know would be the perfect candidate to be my sampler tester. His job entails him to wear casual business apparels and black oxfords or laced-up shoes. Ok, on to the review. He likes it with one gripe which isn’t a big deal. Shine To Go is more for convenience hence the “to-go” label. It surely is successful on that factor. Does it really shine, YES. Now the negative aspect, 1 pack of Shine To Go is supposed to cover 1 pair of shoes but that’s not really the case. I guess if you just want a swipe, 1 pack would work for 1 pair but if you prefer a little bit more shine, then you’ll have to use 2 packs. Other than that my brother-in-law thinks it’s cool and very convenient product.

Reebok – Kool-Aid Sneakers Review and A Chance To Win A Pair

Ever since I introduced the Reebok and Kool-Aid collaboration, people have been intrigued and have shared their speculations on how the scent-infused sockliners would be like. Trust me, I myself wasn’t too sure about it which is why I withheld my thoughts on the sneakers for a little while. Even after I featured the entire Reebok-Koolaid collection which includes shirts, hoodies and shirts. BTW, the clothing and accessories line are not scent-infused .

Anyhoo, I’ve been holding on to a size 11 pair of the White/Cherry sneakers for a week now. Posting of that was temporarily disrupted due to the servers issues early this week. After reading a few posts this morning linking to what I’ve written I’ve decided to share my thoughts now instead of waiting ’till next week. Information on how to win this pair after the fold as well.

I actually like the white/color combination pair, aesthetic wise. I agreed with my husband when he said it has an old school vibe to it. Just like the classic Reebok sneakers, except this time it has the kool-aid smile, and brand logo on the back and bottom of the shoe. I haven’t seen the colored one up-close and personal but I think if you’re a Man, the red, orange and green pairs would be more appropriate for your age. Leave the rest to the kids. If the collection was available for Women, I’d probably go for the bright colors. I happen to own a pair of their classic pink and white combo.

As for the sweet smell, you don’t have to worry about your dogs sniffing it. The fruity flavor is actually controlled inside the shoes. I had to take the liner out to smell the cherry scent. Your favorite kool-aid flavor is not going to be haunting you wherever you are whenever you have this on. Having said that, I couldn’t really say if that would change if someone is actually wearing it. If the smell would suddenly envelope your whole surroundings when your sole is pushing down on the liner or if you’re sweating. But then again, no one would wear this kind of shoes when playing sports. Maybe for walking but if your feet sweats like crazy when doing that activity, then you have bigger problems. Time to see the Doctor. And if you have a dog, maybe you should train her/him not to chew on your shoes? Or better yet, store your shoes where your dog can’t reach? Just a thought, heh!

OK, as far as the contest go, like I said, this is size 11. That was the only size available after the collection launched early this month. Sorry. More Fugly Evisu Genes Diacock Jeans To Waste Your Money On!!

You are going to sit there, staring at me, with your straight face, with no hint of laughter or disdain and tell me You are going to spend about $200 to have any one those fugly Evisu Genes jeans? Either I should call Daddy’s accountant or set up and appointment with Dr. Phil, I’m not sure which step I should take first.

I don’t care how authentic they are. Or whether they are “quality” jeans. There are other brand of jeans who have stood the test of time, like for example Levi’s, that are never as ugly as those Evisu Genes Diacock Jeans. I don’t care if one person had to sew every thread on that jeans. Or how many times they beat the crap out of a rock to test it’s durability. Those are ugly jeans and you are better off spending your money on a much better brand to avoid being laughed at by people on the streets. ‘Coz trust me, they will. The people who “compliments” you are lying and are laughing behind your back, literally.

SKB Don’t : Juicy Couture Tracksuit

This Juicy Couture Track Suit, my friends, is one of the reasons why DETAILS has a list of Fashion Don’ts. Trust me, I’ll be the first person to admit that there are certain fashion rules out there that I refuse to follow. I break these so-called rules all the time BUT just like LIFE, there are certain rules that are NOT meant to be broken. No matter which way we try to defend, bend or twist it, we just can’t. And this is one of them. First of all, who wears a track jacket unzipped and no shirt underneath it? Secondly, who wears a track pant in that length? What, Juicy Couture ran out of fabric? They must have. I’ve never really liked Juicy Couture and here’s another validation as to why I don’t.

If you insist on having the track jacket, please wear a shirt underneath. Going around without one is just trying too hard to be cool. Personally, I’m not impressed. This is definitely added to our SKB Nay List.

Juicy Couture Cashmere Skull Track Jacket, Too Much?

And when I asked Too Much, I didn’t mean the price of $395. That’s pretty much expected from Juicy Couture. Well maybe not that much but since it’s cashmere, it’s understandable. Anyway, I’m referring to the design on the back. I’m usually fond of skull graphics on clothes. But to a point. This track jacket is already a cashmere. Adding the stripesdetail, eh, maybe it’s ok. But a bold graphic on the back for an even more edgy twist? Kinda overboard. I guess when it comes to cashmere, I just prefer it to be left alone and let cashmere be the focal style aspect. Every Man Jack In Citrus Flavor

When I opened the package for the Every Man Jack body wash and body bars, I was greeted by the strong scent of citrus. In a good way. I’ve had unfortunate experiences in smelling citrus flavored products and some have almost made me choke just by the first whiff. Not in the case of Every Man Jack. The combination of mandarin orange and lemon flavors are not that overpowering to the nostrils. The scent is strong but the effect is somehow controlled. I knew my husband was going to love it. Let me introduce the items.

Citrus Scrub Body Bar With Wheat
Sounds like breakfast eh? It’s fresh and invigorating clean citrus scent. The veggie base will make you clean while the glycerin provides moisture and the wheat bran will scrub away dead cells. Which leaves a smooth feeling skin. Citrus Scrub Body Bar is tallow, sulfate and paraben free.

Citrus Scrub Body Wash
Citrus in the shower, yummmmmmmmm. this uses coconut-derived surfactants to cleanse while polyethylene beads scrub away dry and dead skin. Citrus oils from mandarin orange and lemon will help you start a very refreshing day. Citrus Scrub Body Wash is dye, SLS and paraben free.

HUGO By HUGO BOSS Review

I informed you guys of the HUGO by Hugo Boss relaunch way back in July. I’ve finally, or shall I say, my husband has gotten a hold of a HUGO BOSS bottle just this month. Hey, better late than never right? The hubs and I are very picky with perfume scents, individually and collectively. We’re always asking each other how any perfumes smell. We both don’t like overpowering smell. If we’re overwhelmed by the fragrance then we say NO right away. At first sniff of HUGO Boss perfume, we both agreed that it’s not bad at all. Not too strong, so we initially liked it. But then again, we only tested it with our fingers. It turns out, as the day went on, the scent wore off really fast. Actually, if you want to smell it at all, you really have to put your nose on the spot there you applied HUGO. It’s definitely not overpowering nor is it overwhelming since you can’t smell a damn thing unless you plant your nose on the spot. Or unless you spritz the whole bottle on yourself, probably. I mean it’s not bad, scent wise. It’s just not a splendid fragrance as we initially thought it was. But then again, you’re asking 2 very picky people when it comes to choosing a splendid fragrance for themselves.
