He looked ok. It’s kinda weird coz mos of the time a slight facial hair would give a Man an edgy or rough “persona”. I don’t see it on Ed Westwick. I think it’s because he doesn’t need it. He’s already got it.

Ironically enough, there’s something dangerous in his clean-shaven look. I think I’ve been watching too much Gossip Girl, ha. All he needs pretty much is to continue wearing his designer suits and shiny designer shoes, then keep saying, “I’m Chuck Bass, You Europeans should know who that is” and I’m sold that he has a dangerous side. It’s funny though because Ed Westwick has a European accent. I’m hoping he’d use it in one of the episodes but that would just be wishful thinking.

…Ryan Brown. Total score was : Jon Fruman won 8 days while Ryan Brown won 14 days.

Ryan Brown was my pick from the beginning. He was more creative in incorporating other items in his outfits with the neckties. Items like blazers, cardigans, vests, hats, and even umbrellas. Not to mention the humorous accessories and poses which made me laughed out loud every time I visited the site.

To Jon’s credit, he kicked it up a notch near the end. I loved his Halloween costume. I thought that was very clever and apropos for the contest.

The contest was all friendly fun and games of course. I think Jon and Ryan had a great time but I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t wear ties for a while. Or maybe I’m wrong. I’m curious what they’re going to think of next.

Congratulations Ryan.

George Clooney

He could almost looked ashy there but he is definitely making it work. Don’t you think? The grey is mostly on the top, while the white hair are nicely laid down on the sides. Maybe his hair was done this way for the movie but either way, George is dapper whether he has black or white/gray hair color. It adds up to his already sexy, suave and Cary Grant appeal.

So, to George Clooney, 2 thumbs up on the hair, and suit as well.

Jon Fruman is on the left, Ryan Brown is on the right. They both look good, don’t they. Thumbs up to both of them. Another point goes to Jon Fruman for wearing colors really well with patterned ties. And kudos to his pink shirt. However, Ryan Brown has worn his neckties with other pieces in his wardrobe like a sportscoat, blazer, cardigan, vest, and even caps. MAJOR kudos to Ryan for utilizing all the other items in his closet with his neckties, on separate days of course. I mean, even the umbrella got some exposure. Now that’s a guy who knows how to wear a necktie. No offense to Jon of course coz he’s also holding his own but I’m on TEAM RYAN .

It’s not that often that we see Sly out and about wearing a nice button-down shirt, with trouser and patent leather loafers. He is usually wearing basic t-shirt and jeans. But then again, he was shopping at Barneys after all.

Stallone’s accessories are not shabby either. I mena hello, he pulled out the sexy Aviator sunglasses, with gold and black combo watch and belt. Sly’s belt buckle actually features 2 guys arm wrestling. It just shows the muscular arms of course but yes, that’s what they’re doing in the buckle.

It’s nice to see Sly looking all put together and cleaned up. Gotta give the guy credit coz he still looking good as ever. I guess you can say I’m happy to see Sly looking like this. I hope to see more of this look in the future.

Vin Diesel

Let me take this few minutes of opportunity to drool over how handsome Vin Diesel looks with his gray & black combo suit and oh-so-sexy Aviators. HELLO!

The Fast and The Furious 4

Like I said, I’m so glad Vin Diesel and the original gang are back for this 4th movie installment. No offense to whomever were on the other 2 sequels but no matter how much I like Paul Walker, the movies just sucked. I didn’t even subject myself to watch part 3 after a very disappointing part 2. The trailer said it all for me.

FYI, Michelle Rodriguez is one kick-ass chick but I like Jordana Brewster more . I don’t care how cheesy the film plot is. I’m sure this part 4 will be much better than the last 2 movies. It is worth looking at sexy cars and *ahem* Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster (alright, Paul Walker too).

Let’s start with the host, Hugh Jackman. He changed 3 times. If my sources are right, his suits were custom made. He opted for bow-tie, from the opening to his performance all the way to the end. Hugh Jackman did wonderful. He is a full package entertainer. I loved how he played an homage to all the movies in his “recession” show then at the end he proclaimed to everyone how he is THE Wolverine. 2009 Oscar’s was fun because of Hugh.

More Stylish Men after the fold….

Best Actor winner Sean Penn with previous Oscar’s winners, Robert de Niro, Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Anthony Hopkins and Adrien Brody. Sean Penn is I think one of the few who donned a monochromatic suit.

Robert Downey Jr was his usual dapper self. He finally shaved, (hehe). He also opted for a basic black and white suit with necktie.

I’d probably get tomatoes thrown at me after this but I don’t really consider Twilight star Robert Pattinson hot. His “rebel-scruffy-devil-may-care” look has all been done before. Johnny Depp and Colin Farrell anyone? Just sayin’. But he looked ok last night.

Zac Efron played his part as the Hot Young Hollywood Kid wearing his Dolce & Gabbana suit at a huge party successfuly. He and girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens performed with Hugh Jackman during the show.

Brad Pitt was once again wearing Tom Ford. He looked good as usual.

Daniel Craig didn’t disappoint with his own bow-tie formal look.
