Would you get a pedicure?

My last post got me to thinking – would you get a pedicure?

Now, I’m fairly new to the whole pedicure thing myself. Only started to get them a year or two ago. Fell in love after my first "pedi" – soft feet, pretty toes. Lovely.

Now, when it comes to guys getting pedicures, it’s not about the fancy nails. Here is what you can expect:

  • a relaxing soak in hot water
  • soothing cream and leg rub
  • buffing off the rough and thick parts of your feet and toes
  • cleaning up your cuticles
  • trimming your nails
  • moisturizing to heck

The goal is to make your feet approachable. Not rough and dirty and covered in calluses. This will not make your feet look girly, just clean. Unless you point it out, nobody will notice it.

Warning: if you are on your feet a lot and have never had a pedicure, warn them not to buff off too much of your calluses, or you could find your next day on your feet results in blisters. Calluses are your buffer from blisters.

So, after that little explanation, do you think you’ll ever go for a pedicure?

I don’t know, my feet are in pretty bad condition but then again, I wouldn’t have a clue where to go!
