Fila “Melrose” Sneaker

Fila’s new Melrose sneaker was just launched last week in New York and Los Angeles. A marriage of East and West coast, the NY-based Fila is reinvigorating their brand by launching the new L.A. inspired “Melrose” shoe.
These shoes incorporate 3M reflective material and sleek European styling for a modern take on Fila’s iconic hi-top sneakers from the 80s. Los Angeles’ legendary Sportie LA (who took over the 80s/90s brand LA Gear) has collaborated with Fila to create several signature Sportie LA Melrose shoes.
The Melrose shoe comes in an array of colors and prints that are flamboyant and fun. Priced at $70, they are an affordable buy. Several celebrities were in attendance at the launch event, including Audrina Patridge and Joel Madden.
You can find these shoes at Sportie LA, as well as select Nordstrom, Footlocker/Lady Footlocker and other shoe retailers.
