I had wooden clogs that carried me through wet pavement areas very well.
My all-time favorite was a pair of red Mary Janes. Now, that doesnt sound like much at first glance, but I was 10 years old. (I had had to wear high-top lace-up brown ones until I went to first grade.) Then I had to wear low-top brown lace-up oxfords until my two sisters and I saw these beautiful red Mary Janes in JCPenneys shoe dept.
How we loved something pretty like that, and could just picture them on our feet. We went home and counted our piggy banks to see if we had saved enough for the 3 Dollars it took to buy them. How we hoped the next time we got to go the 30 miles into town they would still be there.
They were still there!! and our parents actually let us spend our hard-earned-saved-up money for them. Now we could wear them for Sunday best!! and didnt have to wear our Saturday-night-polished ones for Sunday! WOW!!!!

My HighBall lambswool Chocolate YOU by Crocs boot. They’re slip on with a wedge heel and oh so comfortable. Beauty and comfort… what a concept!!! However I do believe if I won, these would be my new favorites.

I love my black patent Kenneth Cole Pumps. They jazz up my usual jeans and top ensemble, and are COMFY.
