Houndstooth Peep Toe Wedges

Houndstooth fabrics are very popular this season – from jackets to handbags and even for shoes. The Liliana by Adi Women’s Houndstooth Peep Toe Wedges pictured here are just adorable … and they are quite affordable too.
They feature a mod wedge heel and a pretty peep-toe, while coming in three houndstooth colors – black, brown and purple. I’m a big fan of the brown pattern. However the purple ones are very suitable for the season as well. The ankle strap is a nice accent.

So I’m torn. On one hand I think these wedges could be really cute, on the other hand I can’t help feeling like I’ll look like a cartoon wearing them.
To avoid the cartoon factor, I think you’d have to wear them with a very neutral outfit. I think the brown ones would look great with some of the chocolate brown fashions this fall.
I can’t sell myself on the purples ones though.
