I am a big fan of slingbacks. In fact, they might be the most common shoe style in my closet. The slingback offers great styling, comfort and a little bit of sass.

This shoe has an adorable criss-cross peep-toe and a mirrored platform. The heel is almost 4 inches and the platform add another 1/2 inch in height.

It comes in three fabulous colors black patent, red patent and white patent. The black has a pewter platform sole, while the lipstick red pictured here features a gold metallic platform.

I wasn’t a big fan of Jessica Simpson’s shoes when she originally started out. I thought they were … well, for a lack of a better word, slutty. But recently, I have really loved a lot of her styles.

I don’t know if she’s changing her designs, or I’m changing my tastes.
