Kelsi Dagger Rosabella Booties

With the influx of ankle boots or as some call them booties, it’s getting harder and harder to choose which ones to invest in. There are so many different styles, shapes, colours and textures to choose from and most of them are so cute. Questions you should ask yourself are: Do you want something simple and streamlined? Do you want embellishments? Do you want platform, heels or wedges?

These Kelsi Dagger Rosabella Platform Ankle Boots ($200) are dramatic without being too over the top. I like the mix of materials with the smooth nappa leather and suede rosette accent. The colours above are black/grey and aubergine (plum). If I were you I’d go for the aubergine shade because these are the type of shoes that should be the star to your outfit, not the background singer.   They’re quite high at 5″ but the platform sole is 3/4″, so it’s only a little over 4″.

Are you thinking about what outfits to wear these with? I actually picture these with a simple outfit; jeans, a white tee and a taupe sweater cardigan with minimal accessories. For evenings, definitely a little black dress!
