Um… quick question that I can’t get an exact answer to… whats the difference between a wedge and espadrille? I thought it was that espadrilles are straw-like on the bottom, where any other wedge can be anything… someone told me I was wrong but wouldn’t go into detail… HELP!
You are right. The rope braiding is what makes them an espadrille. Wedge is just the type of heel. An espadrille can be a wedge, but there are many other shoes that are wedges but aren’t espadrilles
