Feeling Blue? Get Beautiful Blue Shoes

Blue is probably the most underutilized color in shoes. We see plenty of pretty pinks, purple, red, yellow and orange, but not enough blue, in my opinion. However, I was thrilled to see some of the Resort Collections for 2010 are incorporating amazing shades of blue. Here are a few of my favorite blue shoes available at Neiman Marcus.

Pedro Garcia Arabella Crystal Sandals

These pewter metallic sandals from Pedro Garcia are an ideal choice for an evening out on the town. I adore pewter as an alternative to the oftentimes too shiny silver.
These modern evening sandals feature a thin crystal-embellished strap across the toes. In the back, they have a wide strap that buckles at the side.
With their 4 1/2-inch heels, you have to be comfortable with high heels to wear these pretty sandals. Though many women are steering away from sky-high heels, I think they are worth it for a few hours out at a special event or party.
You can get these …read more

I normally don’t like shoes that are so flat, but for these I’d make an exception. These …read more

Giuseppe Zanotti Crystal Fishbone Sandal

From a distance, I just loved these shoes. Close up? They are just too weird for me.

A silver metal crystal-encrusted fishbone accessory creates the T-strap of these shoes. Though it’s beautiful and delicate … it’s shaped like a fishbone!
I love the black satin combined with the stacked stiletto and all the glitz, but I just can’t get over the fish design. Maybe if they chopped off the head, I’d feel better!
What do you think?

The Giuseppe Zanotti Crystal Fishbone Sandal is $850 from eLuxury.com.
