When I first glanced at these shoes, I thought to myself, “How gaudy!” Then I looked again and started to warm up to them. These Poetic Licence pumps are definitely “busy” with all their details. From the scalloped suede sides to the satin tie to the glossy heel, they aren’t short on romantic accents.
Poetic Licence shoes usually have some unique detailing and I have had mixed experiences with this brand in the past. With these shoes, I’m just unsure what I would possibly wear them with — especially in the turquoise blue color.

I love the textures that are associated with fall fashion. From cashmere sweaters to wool coats and luxurious leather bags to (of course) suede shoes and boots. Today, let’s take a look at some of the sensational suede footwear available for fall.

Last year, we started seeing a lot of “caged” sandals and booties. And this fall, it’s more of the same. I normally don’t love this style; they oftentimes look like they will kill your feet. But I discovered a caged platforms from Miu Miu at Neiman Marcus that caught my eye.
These suede shoes are available in baltico (navy) or nero (black). They have a zipper at the back of the heel. I’m still not sure that I’d like the look of these shoes when they were on my feet but they certainly look hot on the shelf.
