From Prada’s fall collection comes these fantastic tall, lace-up boots.
These boots feature a full side zip for each access and shiny black leather. I love the detailing of a lace-up boot without the hassle of actually lacing them up. These Prada boots are an investment at $1,200 from Neiman Marcus, but you will be able to wear them for years to come. I love the 4-inch conical heel!
If you are looking for a flat riding boot instead, Prada has several styles that are hot for fall.

Slouchy boots are really “in” right now and the Tianna boot from Steve Madden is ideal.
This flat boot is available in black, brown or grey suede and is priced at just $89 from LordandTaylor.com.
You can tuck your jeans into these boots, or wear the boots with a skirt and tights. I just love the slouchy style! The flat heel and round toe means they are built for comfort. Plus with flat boots, there’s less chance of slipping on icy sidewalks!
Boots that are this cheap and chic should be a staple in your wardrobe!
They are sold out of several sizes of …read more

With 2007 behind us, let’s take a look back at my five favorite shoe trends of the year:
1. Metallic Pumps – I really hated the metallic trend at first. But as the year wore on, I began to love metallic shoes. Now I just can’t get enough!
2. Lace-up Booties – I have always liked ankle boots. So when the menswear inspired shoe boots emerged in 2007, I just loved it!
3. Grey Shoes – Well, grey fashion in general. Grey was definitely the color of fall. I adore black shoes, but grey is a welcome change as the neutral of choice.
4. Patent Leather – …read more

UGG Australia Cardy Classic Boot

Many pull-on knit boots are popular this season, including tall boots like these crochet boots from UGG.
And though I’m not a fan of the tall variety, I have found that I really like the UGG Australia ‘Cardy’ Classic Boot pictured to the right.
This rib-knit boot can be worn rolled down, folded over or pulled all the way up. It comes in grey, black, dusty rose and oatmeal. They look so cozy and warm that I’m thinking of buying a pair, even though it doesn’t get that cold here in San Antonio!
You can get these at Nordstrom right now for $139.95.
