I’m going to try to steer clear of shoes because that’s the obvious answer. And for the purpose of this exercise, I’ll assume that I already have my perfectly decorated dream home and a couple cars.

Jewelry - I wouldn’t want a lot of jewelry (outside a few dozen pairs of earrings). But I would love to have this gorgeous, diamond Carpet Bracelet from Harry Winston. How much? Oh darling, if you have to ask, you can’t afford it.

Clothes – A $10,000 gift certificate from Neiman Marcus. I know there are many more luxurious places to buy clothes, but I always find things I like at Neiman Marcus. $10K should be good enough for a decent wardrobe.

Clutch – This Leiber Goddess Minaudere clutch is only $2,495. I’ll take it! I love the unique styling and the contrast of the burgundy and silver.

Handbag – Did you think I would stop at one purse? Have you seen my closet! For my “everyday” bag, I’d pick this red patent Kate Spade satchel. At $395, I might actually consider buying this bag even without the help of my imaginary benefactor.

Sports Team – I think I’d buy the San Antonio Spurs. A sports franchise is my dream purchase. Watching NBA basketball is one of my true passions, so owning my own team would be awesome. My husband and I could GM the team and sign all the players we wish the Spurs would have signed in recent years.

Kids – I’m not saying I’d buy babies off the street. I’m talking about adoption, which is quite expensive. If money were no object, I’d adopt seven children and provide them with the most wonderful, fun, rewarding life they could possibly imagine.

Doghouse – I’d buy a luxury doghouse for Yogi and Deuce, my two labs. La Petite Maison offers a variety of different styles to choose from. My dogs spend 90% of the time inside my house – so it would be cool if they had a house that they could call their own.

The Shoes – Umm … it’s a shoe blog, so I can’t get away without writing about shoes.

You know how some people subscribe to a book of the month club?

I’d want a shoe of the month club where a new pair of Manolo Blahnik shoes were delivered to my door every month for the rest of my life.

Ahh … heaven.
