If you are looking for something edgy and dramatic, check out these black croc-embossed sandals from the Donna Karan fall collection. These shoes are a bit too busy for my taste, but you can’t deny the effort put into all the details.
These leather sandals feature a zipper on the front, studded trim and cut-out sides for an edgy look with rocker chick appeal. These wooden platform sandals have a sky-high covered heel and buckled halter ankle strap.

Ugly Shoe of the Week: Star Ling Sandal

I’m not a fan of any of the sandals by Star Ling, but this pair is the worst in my opinion. Talk about clunky! Priced at $89.95, I guess their only redeeming quality is they aren’t expensive.
These sky-high shoes will definitely give you some height if you need it. The Star Ling Cortez Wedge Sandal has a 4 1/2 inch wedge heel and a 1 inch platform.

BCBG Max Azria “Templa” Chunky Heel Sandal

Sometimes you don’t want a sandal that’s totally flat, but you don’t want a high heel either. And you might find that there is not a very good selection of those “in between” shoes.
This BCBG Max Azria sandal is an exception. This shoe is just adorable. The metallic details combined with brown leather make this an eye-catching choice. This sandal also features a chunky 1 1/2-inch stacked circular heel.
You can get this sandal at Bloomingdale’s for $198.
