I’m one of those women who is willing to sacrifice comfort for the sake of style. Though I don’t do it every day, for special occasions no shoe is too painful for me if it’s pretty enough. Platform sandals will be big once again this spring. Though some platforms look far too clunky and chunky, you can find others that are a little more wearable.

This platform sandal from Gucci is one that I really like. Though the platform sole is pretty thick, the gunmetal leather and double buckle ankle strap make a nice statement.

You can also get these sandals in black, but I think they look much better in the gunmetal. These pretty sandals will definitely cost you a pretty penny. Priced at $1,160 at Bergdorf Goodman, you might have to save up if you really want these.

If I were going to pick a dream bag right now, it would be the Valentino Primevere Floral Tote. This handbag features all over floral appliques but it’s not pink or other girly colors. Instead this bag is a Cacao pearlized nappa leather that gives it a very unique and luxurious appeal.

The Valentino Town Sandals that coordinate with the bag are also top notch. They offer bronze metallic leather in a sexy, strappy design.

I don’t think I’ll be springing for this Valentino handbag any time soon. It’s available on pre-order at Neiman Marcus for $3,495. The sandals on the other hand are a little more realistic (though still pricey) at $695.
