With the 2008 Summer Olympics opening in Beijing today, along comes a bunch of new shoe releases from Nike to celebrate the games. Here’s one for the ladies, that is both simple and stylish.
The Nike Air Scandal takes the men’s Vandal model and gives it a slimmer look. This colorway of the shoe features a satin-y white base and a bronze Swoosh. There’s also a black version with a gold swoosh. So I’m sure there’s a silver pair out there too.

Get glitzy with these new Nike Court Force shoes. Though we don’t talk about sneakers that often here, I thought these were worth noting.
The Nike Court Force “Diamond” Pack features a silver Court Force Low and a gold Court Force High, both adorned with panels of colored rhinestones. If you are looking for an athletic shoe with some pizazz, these are a great choice.

I don’t usually write a lot about sneakers here, but there are a couple cute editions of Nike sneakers that are coming out for Valentine’s Day that you might be interested in.
The Nike Court Force High St. Valentine’s Day below features a lot of pink, plus a variety of textured leathers. I really like the red quilted patent leather around the heel area.
