Anyi Lu: I started my company about 5 years ago, and stemmed from the idea of fit and style. I have spent many years studying fashion, and tailoring my brand to be on trend but never too trendy that the shoe will go out of style.

What inspires your designs?

Anyi Lu: I am inspired by the everyday working woman who desires a shoe that looks good and feels great. My shoes are designed for looking and doing, because style should not have to be sacrificed.

What accessory trends do you see being popular for the summer?

Anyi Lu: I see lots of bright colors making big impacts, highlighted by subtle neutrals. Mixing and matching this season is very popular, but you don’t want to take it too overboard!

Any tips on saving money on your wardrobe?

Anyi Lu: Invest in pieces that are made well that will last. Pieces like this may seem expensive, but you will get more wear out of them, and will not have to replace them like a bargain brand.

I love this shoe because it’s so unique. It features cute fringe over the vamp, top stitching and a rounded toe. You can get these daniblack shooties in black patent ($113.90) or sand suede ($89.95).

Luichiny Nelly Open Toe Boot
This Victorian-inspired boot comes to life with a peep-toe, platform sole and vibrant purple color. These boots are on sale now for $93.46. They also come in pewter or bronze.

Naughty Monkey Square Biz Pump
I love the funk of Naughty Monkey pumps and this one is no exception. Featuring a deep wine color and geometric print, this pump add some oomph to your work wardrobe. Priced at just $67.96, these are a great buy.

Here are a couple “degrade” shoes that you may like.

Stuart Weitzman Stringalong Degrade Patent Flats

These cute flats come in red, blue or coal grey degrade patent. It’s a simple silhouette, but these shoes come alive with color. They are on sale at Zappos.com for $197.

If you like the Stuart Weitzman flats, you will probably also like the degrade pumps, which come in the same gradient colors.

Prada Degrade Pumps

These cute pumps feature peach color in the front that fades into white. I really like the buckle over the open toe. You can get these at Raffaello Network for $573. You can find these cheaper at Neiman Marcus, but they only have size 10 available ($490).

Le Silla Patent Wedge Pumps

This interesting patent wedge fades from yellow to grey. It’s on sale at a huge discount from Saks Fifth Avenue – marked down from $615 to $368.90. I love the square toe.

These sexy pointy toe pumps have lots of style. I love the cutouts at the heel. I think these would look great with linen or white fashions for daytime, or as a great contrast to a black dress for evening. These shoes are $98.99 at Heels.com.

Anne Klein New York Anetta Flats

One of the only flats on my list, this orange shoe features two interlocking cork rings on the vamp. The tumbled patent leather is very shiny but slightly wrinkled. You can order these right now from Nordstrom for $235.

Enzo Angiolini Maylie Peep Toe Pumps

These orange shoes will definitely get some attention! The quilted patent leather, little peep-toe and tall stiletto heel make these pumps as very sexy choice. You can get these shoes at Endless.com for $94.95.

Dezario Keira Sandal

A very modern style, this sandal features a chunky cork platform and big gold buttons down the T-strap. These shoes are definitely unique. Get them from Nordstrom for $129.95.

Dolce & Gabbana Orange Patent Sandals

These slick patent leather shoes feature feminine curves and a delicate ankle strap. Probably my favorite shoe on the list, this orange peep-toe sandal is $550 at Saks Fifth Avenue.

Nicole Latch Flat

Add a burst of color to even a casual outfit with this Mary Jane flat from Heels.com. The orange patent leather is accented with contrasting white stitching. These are a great buy at just $69.99.

Nine West Fronttime Sandal

This retro looking shoe features a slight platform and a big buckle ankle strap. These shoes come in several bright colors, including orange. As with most Nine West shoes, these are very affordable at only $89.95 from Endless.com.

Enzo Angiolini Hudson Dark Orange Patent Slides

Yes, I know it’s the second Enzo Angiolini shoe on the list but I couldn’t leave these out. This dark orange shoe features a wrinkled finish, giving it a very cool look. The big buckle and covered wedge heel are stylish and chic. $93 from Zappos.com

Via Spiga Disco Metallic Heel Slides

These shoes, priced at $165 from Nordstrom, have plenty of interesting details including the stone cluster on top and the metallic kitten heel. But what really makes them special is the snake-embossed patent leather. In addition to orange, they come in black, emerald green, orchid pink, copper and silver.
