For a shoe that’s a little unique, check out the J. Reneé ‘Elvira’ Pump. It’s not exactly a pump — more like an open-toe mule. These ruched satin shoes feature an abstract bow over the toe and an interesting silhouette.
These shoes come in four fabulous colors for spring and summer — pink, teal, bone and papaya (shown). You can order these shoes from Nordstrom for just $89.95. They would be a great complement to summer dresses or cropped pants.
If you don’t want to wear sandals all the time, but closed pumps aren’t appropriate, then the J. Reneé Elvira would definitely …read more

Normally when I see cork pumps, they look a little drab. However, these from Jean-Michel Cazabat are anything but dull. They feature a little bit of sparkle infused into the cork uppers.
Priced at $595 from Barneys CO-OP, these peep-toe pumps have gold metallic trim and a 4-inch ombre heel. These shoes are sparkly enough for evening wear, but not so gaudy that you can’t also wear them to work.
If you are looking for something a little bit different, the Jean-Michel Cazabat Opium pump is a terrific alternative.

Maybe these shoes are called “Roulette” because they are a little risky. These patent leather peep-toe pumps feature a d’Orsay design and colorful fantasy print.

Christian Louboutin Fringe Cutout Boot

Is it a peep-toe pump? Is it a fringed boot? Who knows, but it’s definitely ugly.
Though I’m a huge fan of Christian Louboutin and understand the marketing need for “shock value” shoes at times, this one is just a monstrosity. The bottom portion of the boot looks your typical camel suede peep-toe pump, but then it breaks out into a shaft. And a fringed shaft at that.
Priced at $1,695, the Christian Louboutin Fringe Cutout Boot is available at Neiman Marcus.
So tell me Shoe Blitz readers… would you wear it? Even if it were free? Not me.
