Gucci Division Over-The-Knee Boots

Over-the-knee boots are definitely glamorous, but I can’t imagine wearing them. Can you?

Gucci offers these stretch and patent leather platform boots that go up to a few inches above the knee. The pattern of the patent is certainly cool and I can imagine some celeb (or stripper?) really rocking these boots, but not much of anyone else.

If you love these boots, tell me what you’d wear them with. I’d imagine a slinky metallic mini-dress with a shiny black patent clutch.

These thigh-high boots are available right now as part of Gucci’s fall collection. Priced at $2,950 at Saks Fifth Avenue, they’d be a huge splurge but hey, someone must buy them.

High heel platform booties are hot for fall, like these below from Gucci. At $775 from Saks, they will set you back but they are gorgeous.

Looking for a more affordable alternative?

Check out these MaxStudio boots at Nordstrom. They have a stretch top that makes them easy to pull on and a nice platform heel.

At just under $200, they are a much cheaper option.
