Shoes that feature both black and white are very versatile. You can wear them year round with almost anything. And when you can find them in shiny patent leather, they are simply gorgeous.

Here are some of my favorite black and white patent shoes.

I love finding a great pair of white shoes for Spring. The Prada Linea Rossa Patent Platform Slingback features a big buckle on the vamp and a sexy peep-toe. Patent leather will continue to be popular all throughout 2008, so I’m sure these will be a big hit.

Chloe Patent Crisscross Sandals

Are these Chloe Patent Crisscross Sandals the “Ugly Shoe of the Week”?

I simply hate these shoes and I’m not even sure why. These patent leather sandals feature very wide crisscross straps, and two buckles near the heel.

They look very uncomfortable and too bulky. I also hate the stubby 2″ blue heel. They also come in fuchsia with a black heel that is higher.

To top it off, they are nearly $600!

White Patent Pumps from Fendi

Who cares if it’s after Labor Day – these shoes are white hot!

This white patent leather pump from Fendi features a peep-toe and stacked heel. The black contrasting stitching makes these shoes perfect for fall or even winter. I love the buckle across the vamp.

You can get them from Neiman Marcus for a cool $505. I’ll be adding these to my Christmas (or maybe Halloween?) wish list!
