$200 JC Penney Gift Card Giveaway: Stay out of the dog house this V-day!

This year, a lot of our men will end up in th dog house.
And quite possibly, it’s simply cause we weren’t clear about what we wanted!
On November 21st, 2008, JCPenney launched the “Beware of the Doghouse” campaign in an attempt to put an end to thoughtless gift-giving for holidays. With Valentines Day just around the corner, the Doghouse is back! That’s right ladies; you can put your man in the Doghouse again for giving thoughtless gifts.
This Valentines Day, no bad gift will go unpunished, but JCPenney has the means for keeping him out of the Doghouse. In an effort to further educate men on thoughtless gift-giving, JCPenney will be promoting “Doghouse Prevention Week” from February 6th to 13th.
This campaign will show all men (previous offenders and potential offenders alike) how to avoid the Doghouse with a short-film about other men’s gift-giving failures, shopping tips, and suggested items to buy at the JCPenney’s Fine Jewelry store. Check out the site at: www.bewareofthedoghouse.com.

I gave my boyfriend the ultimate bad gift last Valentines’ Day: a scarf that I knitted. While it was thoughtful in the sense that I spent a year knitting it (on and off), it was as ugly as heck, and I didn’t even have the yarn at the very end tucked in. It also weight about 3lbs, so I can’t imagining anyone wearing it. Although surprisingly, my bf was still able to win the terrible-gifts contest by giving me absolutely nothing. It was the worst V-Day I ever had. Haha.
