Beauty and Fashion Books from my Shelf

I’m sorry I can’t add photos of each of the covers, but yesterday my last year’s birthday present… a new laptop just up and died on me. And that just would have to happen the minute my husband leaves for a business trip. My daughter and I tried everything we could think of to get it working again, but no luck. So, I’m using daughter’s computer and it obviously needs replacing as well. How can you have TWO computers both decide to not work properly within a couple of days of each other?? One not at all, and now this one having an issue with graphics. Hopefully by tonight I will have figured it out or just maybe there will be two computers going through the window by this afternoon.

But enough about that… on to a more interesting topic!

The Lucky Shopping ManualI still pull this book off the shelf from time to time when I get bored silly with what’s in my closet. It has saved me many a time.

Curly Girl I have had curly hair all of my life and more often than not, I flat-iron all of those curls, but every so often I let them all fall into place, giving my hair a breather. This book has taught me tons.

Decades of Beauty Just love thumbing through this book. It starts with fashion and beauty in the 1890s straight on through to the 1990s. That covers my grandmother’s era, my Moms and mine as well. Great photos too.
