For the shopaholics out there, we could all use another shopping bag. And here’s a fantastic choice that’s not just cute, it’s eco-friendly too.
ECOBAGS has created a unique line of “Totes with Quotes” featuring the catchy slogans “Make Love Not Carbon” and “Talk Green To Me” add a little flair to the typical reusable bag. These great Fair Wage/Fair Labor, eco-friendly tote bags are affordable and adorable.

Available online at EcoBags.com, the signature totes are just $14.99. Each tote can hold the equivalent of four plastic grocery bags. You can use these bags at the grocery store, as a beach bag, or anytime you want to be eco-chic.
“Totes with Quotes” are all unique and made from different materials including: 100% Organic Cotton, 55% Hemp/45% Cotton blends, 100% Recycled Cotton, 75% Recycled Cotton/25% Natural Cotton blends and Non-Woven Polypropylene.
Price points vary from $5.99 – $16.00 depending on the size and style, so they are well suited for many shopping budgets and make great gifts.
Right now at Shopaholics Daily, we are giving away an ECOBAGS tote bag to two lucky readers.
Winning is easy. All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment here about what you are doing to be more eco-friendly.

These bags are great! I’m remembering to take my cloth bags when I shop, but they’re all grocery logo bags. I’d love to carry a bag that’s making a clever statement as well as being environmentally friendly.
AWESOME bags!
Cool site! I take my cloth bags when I shop for groceries. There’s still so much I need and want to do to for our environment.
Thanks for the contest. Best wishes for a happy and prosperous 2009!
Cute bags! In order to be more eco-friendly, my husband and I have cut back to using only one car and driving significantly less. We also winterized our apartment, and run the heat very rarely. It’s the little things that will all add up in the end!
We’ve started using our own bags at the grocery store.
We have gotten water saving shower heads.
Love watching the Planet Green channel. All kinds of tips to greening up your life. Tom B. of Dancing with the Stars hosts a dinner party at a “green” house in CA. One tip I want to research is renting a solar power unit for our house. Have been using my grocery store bags for a few months now. The trick is to put them back into the car after putting away the groceries. Also, I am trying to recycle every bit of product packaging I can to reduce the amount of trash we put out. Always on the look out for little things I can do to be green.
Thanks!
Cute bags! We are starting to use reusable bags when shopping.
To be more eco-friendly, we are recycling every scrap of paper in the house…no paper goes in the garbage. These bags are really cute..thanks for the giveaway!
walking more and more
To be more ecofriendly, we are using cotton diapers on our son, we put in a new front-loading washer, put in a gas dryer, putting in eco-friendly bamboo hardwood, installing new windows and doors, using “green” cleaners around the house, recycling and composting religiously (only putting out a half bag of garbage bi-weekly), using reusable bags when shopping, drinking tap water, got rid of one vehicle, turn off all the lights when not in a room, installed CFL’s in all of the light fixtures in the house, converted basement to flourescent tube lighting throughout, installed water saver shower heads, flush only when necessary, the list goes on
Thanks for the great give-a-way!!
To be more eco-friendly, we’re walking more and being more careful about recycling.
I bought a water bottle so that I didn’t keep buying bottled water.
recycle everthing I can and always take my own cloth bags when I shop, and try to walk as much as I can
Great bags! I use cloth bags like this for my groceries.. and of course recycle and reuse everything possible!
I have a new front-loading washer, we are using compact flourescent bulbs in our light fixtures, we recycle everything we can, and I use reusable shopping bags. Thank you!
Recycling like crazy…shopping and consuming less….driving less and questioning every purchase…not just whether we need it but if we do, can we get it with less packaging!!
Love the bags…and the quotes!!
We’re bicycling & walking when we can & doing little things like not using paper towels unless necessary. I keep a pile of clean rags under the sink to use, wash & reuse. Good for the environment, good for my wallet.
Too cute, we recycle here and use energy saver lightbulbs. We are using green cleaning products and have energy star appliances. We are also putting in a home orchard to replenish the land here.
I shop locally as much as I can (small town, so limited in stores available) and walk to the store whenever possible. Bags like these would make that much more pleasant!
no more bottled water or paper towels
We recycle everything possible. Our city has curbside pickup of plastic, aluminum and steel. And we use our shredded paper for garden mulch. We donate outdated but still usable clothing and household items to a thrift shop. Still looking for a place to recycle glass.
I take cloth bags when I shop. I’m trying real hard to be plastic bag free this year. It would be sweet to have one of your great looking bags.
To get our family involved the money we make from recycling our plastic bottles and cans we put the money towards a family outing such as movies or going out to dinner, we also walk more and to save water we use a timer for the shower, which is great since their are 6 of us.
We’ve nixed disposable plastic water bottles.

energy saver applicances
I am using more “green” totes for my groceries! Please enter me in this giveaway as I can use another “green” tote!
These are really awesome bags! Smart sayings!
To be more eco friendly, myself and my family, walk where we don’t need to drive, turn off lights when needed, use the new lightbulbs, water our plants with cooled down veggie water, recycle everything that can be recycled. I’m also starting to use vinegar and water as a cleaning agent.
Thanks so much, I’d love one of these bags!

Recycle more
I am replacing all my light bulbs with the flouresent ones as they burn out. Also using my own bags for groceries. Reycling too.
We have cut back on cleaning supplies that arent more geered to being good for our enviroment, we have switched all our light bulbs, we recycle where we can, we reuse those darn plastic bags for the store (when we have to except them) for lining trash cans, we also have added more plants to our home to help the quality of the air and those are just a few things we are doing to help our green side.
I park the car and walk more. Not only am I getting the exercise I save the environment, and save with my pocket-book. It’s a win win situation.
I recycle as much as possible and try to use recyclable products.
these are so nice- and love the fact they are not based with a store logo so I can use all over
I car pool with a coworker, I walk more and we recycle.
I try shopping with reusable bags and walk to work in good weather. I also am no longer buying bottled water.
I keep my reusable bags inthe car so i don’t forget to take them. You can never have too many of htese.
My family is doing many things to be environmentally friendly like using reusable bags to drinking tap water no more plastic water bottles! plus we use green cleaning products.
I am trying to remember to take my reusable cloth bags to the grocery store instead of the plastic ones.
I recycle, use green cleaning products, and changed the bulbs to the CF ones. I would love to get reusable shopping bags but I’m having a hard time finding big ones. I only shop for groceries 2 times a month so I need a lot of BIG bags!
I reuse plastic baggies by rinsing them and turning them inside out to dry
We are using green totes for the groceries, recycling, using freecycle, reusing envelopes received in the mail, replaced all the light bulbs, use grass clippings as mulch, use eco-friendly cleaning products.
we just started using reusable cloth bags
I have been making sure I can not use something I already have before I buy something new
I don’t buy food in little packages. I use reusable containers for lunches.
Practicing the 3 Rs — Reduce, Reuse and Recycle
nice bags
These would add to my cloth shopping bag group. I also have switched to energy efficient lightbulbs, recycle as much as I can, turn off vampire electronics, etc.
I have been using my clothes line instead of the dryer an washing dishes by hand an not using the dishwasher
