For the shopaholics out there, we could all use another shopping bag. And here’s a fantastic choice that’s not just cute, it’s eco-friendly too.
ECOBAGS has created a unique line of “Totes with Quotes” featuring the catchy slogans “Make Love Not Carbon” and “Talk Green To Me” add a little flair to the typical reusable bag. These great Fair Wage/Fair Labor, eco-friendly tote bags are affordable and adorable.

Available online at EcoBags.com, the signature totes are just $14.99. Each tote can hold the equivalent of four plastic grocery bags. You can use these bags at the grocery store, as a beach bag, or anytime you want to be eco-chic.
“Totes with Quotes” are all unique and made from different materials including: 100% Organic Cotton, 55% Hemp/45% Cotton blends, 100% Recycled Cotton, 75% Recycled Cotton/25% Natural Cotton blends and Non-Woven Polypropylene.
Price points vary from $5.99 – $16.00 depending on the size and style, so they are well suited for many shopping budgets and make great gifts.
Right now at Shopaholics Daily, we are giving away an ECOBAGS tote bag to two lucky readers.
Winning is easy. All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment here about what you are doing to be more eco-friendly.
You will be automatically entered into the giveaway drawing with your comment. Two random winners will be selected from all the commenters to receive the bags.
The first winner drawn will receive the “Make Love Not Carbon” tote and the second will win the “Talk Green To Me” tote.

The contest runs through next Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11:59pm CT. Please only enter once and leave your email address in the appropriate spot so that we can contact you.
Thanks to ECOBAGS for sponsoring the giveaway.

Hi! We are trying hard to be eco-friendly. We’ve replaced regular bulbs with spiral type. We have reusable water bottles. Cloth shopping totes. Try to buy local organic foods. I would love to have this bag to brag about loving our earth!!
i’m using fabric for wrapping paper
I recycle as much as I can. I also use reusable totes for shopping quite a bit. When I do get plastic bags, I save them up and recycle them too.
We just bought a pur flavor options water pitcher and we have banished sodas and bottled drinks!
we got a water filter so we could stop buying bottled water
i turn the water off when i brush my teeth.
We recycle & we also use totes when we shop. We can always use another one.
I recycle paper which I think a lot of people forget to do. I am a student and all of the paper I would have been throwing out adds up!
a good win
I am taking stairs more and elevators less!
I’m riding my bike to work instead of driving.
I make all of my own cleaning supplies. It’s really easy, really cheap, and super eco-friendly. Thanks!
I quit running water while I was brushing my teeth. I know that doesn’t seem like a lot but it was a huge sacrifice. Ask my husband, we have been arguing over it for years.
We stopped buying bottled water and now use Brita. We also use canvas bags when we go grocery shopping. Thanks for the chance.
We switched out our light bulbs.
Another great eco-bag designed for grocery shopping are Hero Bags. All bags made out of sustainable materials and in the USA. They also have cute lunch bags in organic cotton! check thme out at http://www.herobags.com
My family and I will recycle our papers/bottles and we also have started bring bags whenever we go shopping.
I use only recycled bags
Our family has done alot to make the change to GREEN. My four grown children have always called me a ‘treehugger’ and we have recycled what we can for as long as I can remember. We even have a can crusher on our porch for aluminum cans. My two youngest kids (still at home) even pick up aluminum cans and throw them in the bed of our pickup truck when we are hiking, or camping.
All lights in our house stay off during the day, and if no one is in the room. The heat stays set at 68 and the a/c at 78.
Our geese eat whatever green and veggie leftovers we have, and the barn cats take care of all other leftovers (oh, with some help from the racoons and possum that come up on the porch at night)!
We are using the energy saving light bulbs. They look a little funny but do the job.
I gave reusable bags to all my friends for Christmas to encourage them to cut back on plastic bags when they shop…
We stopped using paper towels, napkins, and tableware.
out with disposables
I love the idea of reusable bags
I buy locally and take my own bags when I shop.
We are doing our best to use less packaging.
reuseable tote bags at the grocery store
Driving as little as possible (I fill out every 3 months).
Well today at Subway I bought one of their reusable bags for .99 and I get a free cookie everytime I use it. No more plastic at Subway!

WE recycle, recycle, recycle. We’ve changed out our light bulbs; carry our own bags to the grocery store (but we sure could use another one…I love the ones you are giving away) and are on the look out for little ways that do make a difference.
I love these cute bags! I am being more eco-friendly by reusing my water bottles and refilling them which saves plastic and waste.
I would love to win this prize.
I am picking up litter on the roads.
These are way more fun than the grocery store version. Cool!
We compost, recycle and walk as much as we can within a specific distance.
We are trying get in the habit of using cloth bags for gifts instead of wrapping paper (we have always “Recycled gift bags” but we have also picked up a couple of cloth bags too that we have started to use. Also I would LOVE to try to start using bags like the ones in the giveaway (maybe I will one!)
I relocated last year so that I can walk to work. Thanks for the chance to win such a great prize!
We recycle, I work form home, We are doing rain catchment and composting for the garden and slowly getting the house outfitted with the twirly bulbs.
To be more eco-friendly I’ve stopped running water while brushing my teeth and washing my face. I’m using a small container for my daughters snack instead of ziploc sandwich bags. We wash dishes every night except weekend instead of running the dishwasher every night and I put buckets outside to catch the rain to water my indoor plants. Thats just a few we learn more every day. Thank you for the giveaway and Happy New Year.
We have started carpooling more which has nearly cut our automobile gas use in half. We are also recycling everything possible and donating to the operation of the recycling center in our town.
NICE BAGS
We’ve changed our light bulbs, compost kitchen and yard waste, use reusable bags, recycle everything we can. Thanks for the giveaway.
We’ve kicked the bottle habit and are using the pur filter
Changed the bulbs, installed high efficiency furnace, and hot water tank.
What I’m doing to be more eco-friendly: I’m using my cloth shopping bags at the grocery store, I quit buying plastic bottles of water (bought a water filter for my sink and bought hubby and I eco-canteens), I’m buying as many local grocery items as possible, I’ve replaced all my regular light bulbs with energy saving bulbs and I’m buying my household cleaning products only from companies that focus on reducing their packaging and their chemical content.
Thank you! This is a wonderful giveaway! I love these bags.

I pick up trash and don’t buy water bottles anymore. Peace in 2009.
Using bags like these to go shopping – only mine aren’t as cute!
using yahoos freecycle to both give away items I’ve never used or don’t used and finding items I need
I started using my Breezy Bags for EVERY grocery store run, because I have them with me ( http://www.breezybags.com ). But still would love one of these bags! By Breezy Bags are all about “utility”. I’d love to win one of these bags with one of the cute sayings.
I recycle and I have stopped buying water bottles and bought a water purifier for my house with a plastic water bottle
