For the shopaholics out there, we could all use another shopping bag. And here’s a fantastic choice that’s not just cute, it’s eco-friendly too.
ECOBAGS has created a unique line of “Totes with Quotes” featuring the catchy slogans “Make Love Not Carbon” and “Talk Green To Me” add a little flair to the typical reusable bag. These great Fair Wage/Fair Labor, eco-friendly tote bags are affordable and adorable.

Available online at EcoBags.com, the signature totes are just $14.99. Each tote can hold the equivalent of four plastic grocery bags. You can use these bags at the grocery store, as a beach bag, or anytime you want to be eco-chic.
“Totes with Quotes” are all unique and made from different materials including: 100% Organic Cotton, 55% Hemp/45% Cotton blends, 100% Recycled Cotton, 75% Recycled Cotton/25% Natural Cotton blends and Non-Woven Polypropylene.
Price points vary from $5.99 – $16.00 depending on the size and style, so they are well suited for many shopping budgets and make great gifts.
Right now at Shopaholics Daily, we are giving away an ECOBAGS tote bag to two lucky readers.
Winning is easy. All you need to do to enter is to leave a comment here about what you are doing to be more eco-friendly.
You will be automatically entered into the giveaway drawing with your comment. Two random winners will be selected from all the commenters to receive the bags.
The first winner drawn will receive the “Make Love Not Carbon” tote and the second will win the “Talk Green To Me” tote.

The contest runs through next Monday, January 12, 2009 at 11:59pm CT. Please only enter once and leave your email address in the appropriate spot so that we can contact you.

To be more green, no fast food, solar energy, and well water!
We have been doing more recycling. We found a place that will take ANYTHING (except for wood…unless its attached to something else). These places are great!
We recycle newspaper, cardboard, cans, using energy efficient light bulbs, keep the house cooler inthe winter, and more!
Thanks
I would use the bag by attaching it to my bicycle for groceries and such. I use my bike to travel everywhere, including the three mile Minnesota wintry commute to and from the University that I’m studying at. I’m also studying environmental justice and ways to prepare for climate change within communities on a local level. Does that count?
I recycle my cans, uses reusable totes when shopping and am replacing my lightbulbs with more efficiency bulbs.
This would be great for shopping
I use reusable shopping bags (but could use another!), recycle, and got an energy star printer recently.
I’m driving less and recycling everything I can.
We recycle and reuse everything possible. We are growing our own organic garden for fresh vegetables. We are conserving water and refusing to buy any more gasoline for our car than is absolutely necessary, regardless of the price.
We compost everything – including dryer lint.
I use grocery sacks as garbage bags.
i love those bags! to be more eco friendly i didn’t let my parents buy me a car and i dont really ever want to own one.
I love these bags, I’ve been buying some at the different stores but not all of them are that well made. I would love a nice one to take shopping with me. Thanks
.
I’ve been combining errands and have been driving 55 mph for a while now – it’s amazing how much gas I save!
I have started using biodegradable cleaners and detergents – nice bags. A good way to make a statement.
I use the new lightbulbs, I have my own water bottle which I fill with tap water, I use my cruise control, and I use cloth bags to carry groceries.
We try to recycle at least 75% of the stuff we throw out.
I have been reusing and living frugal for years. I always have extra shopping ,giving to the kids making sure they are getting use to using
We use our own bags at the grocery, take 3 minute showers, and only use cfls!
We resuse all bags (bread bags from the store, etc.), all natural cleaning products, non-chlorine bleach diapers, and no paper towels.
We unplug all our appliances and lights when we’re not using them. Also, we use as many green products as we can, avoiding things that aren’t.
Try to use organic products as much as possible.
We Cloth Diaper, use reusable bags when we shop (not as cool as these, though!), buy in bulk to reduce packaging waste, and recycle faithfully, to name just a few. Thanks for a great giveaway!

Great bags! To be more ecofriendly we have gone to a paperless kitchen, no paper towel, paper napkins or paper plates. We use rags, cloth napkins and washable plates. We’ve been doing it since May (and we have three young kids) and it has worked out great!
Cool site and cute site.
We are taking cloth bags to the store to cut down on plastic usage and we are using Sigg bottles instead of buying water in plastic bottles.
I am replacing my light bulbs with energy efficientbulbs and when I replace appliances I opt for the most energy saving ones.
I try to recycle and re-Use & re-purpose alot of things I would discard to the trash. skyxsky(at)gmail.com
Great website! I enjoy using cloth bags while shopping and winning one of these ECOBAGS would be great!
We recycle everything we can and always turn off the lights when we leave rooms. Thanks for the chance!
I try to use tote bags at the store and turn off the water when brushing my teeth.
We do many things to stay eco-friendly & save money: recycle everything we can, filter water from our tap instead of buying bottled (that plastic probably isn’t any better for us than it is the planet), use natural (mostly homemade recipes) cleaners for laundry & home, turn down the thermostat at night & use heated mattress pad & electric blanket instead, use reusable shopping bags, only run dishwasher & washer when full, try to save gas & combine our trips to town, reusable containers for lunches at work- glass & not plastic b/c again, plastic really isn’t good for us either & eventually it will wear out & may not be recycable.
I’ve switched to CFLS
I recycle everything which can be recycled. I also have replaced all my cleaning supplies with those which are eco-friendly.
i ry to recycle everything that i can and i changed all my bulbs to energy savers
I am co-writing a book titled Jones, Evans & Knight by Melvese and Myhia. The WORD draft is 155 pages. Every time we print a revised copy we:
1. only print the revised pages; 2. print double-sided; 3. use the availabe space on used paper to handwrite inserts, notes, etc.; 4. shred and recycle all used paper; and 5. support a healthy, clean, eco-friendly environment in our story. (Please be on the lookout for Jones, Evans & Knight to be published next month…)
I think these bags are great. Right now I use environmentally friendly Method brand products around my house, recycle, and use my own mug and water bottle at work to cut back on paper waste.
I am weaning off of chemical cleansers and disposable paper products.
I’ve been buying more green cleaning products and liking them.
I’ve been making my own cleaning products.
We try to do a lot of different things, but recently we bought reusable produce bags so we don’t have to waste all that plastic at the grocery store. Thanks for this giveaway!
I like using cloth bags but find the ones in the stores very high in price.
I became a strict vegetarian, and I started to recycle, and re-use like crazy! I also conserve water, and buy from eco friendly websites and places. I buy most of my clothing, etc, from the local second hand store and the money helps people in need.
I try to carry a tote everywhere I go.
recycle everything I can!
:] I would love one of thses bags.
I no longer buy plastic bottled water.
I only drink tap.
I recycle. I stay home more & burn less gas. I turn off lights that are not needed & I even turn off the water heater when its not needed!
I use tote bags instead of plastic or paper bags when I go grocery shopping.
I recycle my old newspapers, catalogs, and magazines.
We started recycling water bottles and pop cans. We’ve also been trying to buy more green cleaning products.
