Kiley Boot by Mossimo for Target, $29.99
Ooh, don’t you just get giddy when walking down the boot aisle in a shoe store or retail chain? Me too!
While I’ve always loved a great boot, I’m having a harder time getting on board with the slouchy styles this season. Maybe because I’ve always liked sleek and streamlined when it comes to my boots. Slouchiness seems so, well, slouchy. And sloppy? I don’t know.
But I am digging these Mossimo boots from Target quite a bit. I think it’s the rich brown and buckles that class them up a bit. Plus the slouch isn’t quite as pronounced as in other styles. These are just lovely and for a killer price of only $29.99, they’re the perfect pair to snag if you want to rock a trend without committing a bunch of money to do so. Save your bucks for the classics, I say.
So what do you think of the slouchy boot trend? Love it or hate it? Let me know in the comments below…

I agree with you on the slouchy boots. I bought a pair a couple months ago and now I regret it! Never wear them, they just look messy somehow. But I do love the buckle trend. Those from Target look great and what a good price too!
Those boots look nice. Affordable and cute! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Marie, don’tcha just hate when you follow a trend and it ends up dying a slow death in the back of your closet?!? So frustrating!
But yes, this style is classed up quite a bit by the buckles – and the price is definitely right!
Hey Rose,
You’re welcome! I thought these were too darn cute not to share. I’m headed to Target tonight and guess what’s on my shopping list, wink-wink.
I think the slouch boots look good on you if you are on the taller side, say over 5′ 7″… if you are shorter than that, I think they make your legs look to be shorter than they really are.
