Finding the Charms in Life

I’ve always believed that every charm on a charm bracelet should have a personal meaning to the owner. I love to pick one up on vacation, that way when the snow banks at home are taller then me, I can look at my bracelet and remember what it’s like to be warm!
The first time we went to Florida as a family, the kids were little and for some reason they both really liked sand. Correction, they really like burying things in the sand. Anything they could get there hands on they buried, like my brand new flip flops. I wouldn’t have minded much, but when we were about to leave they couldn’t remember where they had buried them. I never did see those flip flops again.
While I couldn’t find a charm to go on a bracelet this morning, I did find one that you could thread onto a chain. That works for me too.
