Freshen Up: Feel Like Yourself Again After a Steamy Workout

Working out in the dead of summer can leave you feeling all but pretty. Your hair flops, your skin’s a grease pit…and speaking of pits, yours smell like a swine.
What to do? Freshen up!
Hair: If you don’t have time to shampoo, sprinkle a tiny amount of baby powder or a specially-formulated hair powder to absorb some of the oils. Bonus: your hair gets a boost of light scent.
Face: Try your hardest to wash before you work out so that makeup doesn’t melt into your pores. If you’d rather saw off your leg than show up at the gym without your “face” on, be sure to take some travel wipes or oil-absorbing sheets with you to mop up some of your sweat, post workout.
Pits: Give your armpits a quick rubdown with a paper towel saturated with water (soap, too, if possible) and pat dry before you reapply antiperspirant/deodorant. Layering deo over top of sweat (without washing it away first) will just trap stinky bacteria – ick!
