Giveaway: Cheesecake Factory $25 Gift Card

Just in case you weren’t quite ready to go grocery shopping this week…how about a fabulous free dinner?

Now, you may ask what a restaurant post is doing in a shopping blog…but..um…hello. Free food? More time for shopping! And I’m giving away a $25 gift card to one of my fave spots, the Cheesecake Factory.

Why do I love this place? Well, I love food – and I love value – and the last time I was there, I was able to get meals for the next three days out of a single salad. And don’t even get me started on their firecracker salmon rolls….too…good…to…resist…

This is actually in celebration of a “Share Your Celebration” contest on their official website, cheesecakefactory.com.

When you enter the “Share Your Celebration” contest, you enter with a picture of a celebration you have had, and explain how Cheesecake Factory played a part in it (you can see some examples if you go to the page). But you can win everything from a trip to Florida
to Cheesecake Factory gift cards, and much in between.

However, I am not hosting that contest…but I am hosting my own! To win the $25 gift card, tell me about YOUR favorite family dining memory!  Does your family go out often? Or for special occasions? Is there one time that sticks in your mind? Deadline to enter is July 15.

My favorite family dining memory was when we went to Bennihana’s My son was like 5 months old. As we were watching the chef prepare our dinner My son took his pacifier and threw it on the grill. I guess he wanted to heat it up! lol

  2. my favorite dining memories always involve meals that we’ve prepared as a family. When we are all in the kitchen helping each other the conversation we share brings us closer. we love to eat together. You know what they say don’t you. The family that cooks together, stays together and we plan to stay together forever.

We didn’t go out often at children…too expensive. My favorite memory was taking my mom to Spago in Beverly Hills last year…we had such a wonderful experience enjoying the chef’s tasting menu. Memories to last a lifetime!

We got out to eat fairly regularly now that our wives are grown. My favorite memory is of last chirstmas which was the first one in years that both of our children were home. Our son is in the army and has been in Iraq when he got leave over christmas. It was just so wonderful to have everyone together.

My favorite memories is when my whole family ate together including uncles great aunts and all my cousins even the ones once removed. They were traditional Italian celebration meals so the lasted hours and were several courses. As a child we were allowed to get up inbetween meals and go to a side room to play. It amazed me how we could eat for hours/
