Retro? I think I’m still living it! I am a Pepsi person! I remember the pop machines for 10cent and leaning into the cooler to get a bottle and you had to remember to get the bottle cap off unless you were taking it home! They were in the gas stations and there wasn’t any outside if they were closed. And the majority were closed on Sundays!!!!

  4. Kat Emerick says:

I had a fringed purse and jacket and my hair was so long, I can still see me wearing my bell-bottom jeans. Those were the good times!

  5. Beverly M says:

Some things were pretty neat back in the good old days. I loved the bell bottoms, rock n roll, and real Pepsi, and long hair. I remember wearing mine in a pony-tail, as a teenager. Things were a lot less hectic then and a lot cheaper, too. Thanks for a great contest.

  6. Cindy says:

  18. Jenna Z says:

I didn’t have a whole lot of fad items growing up, so I mainly only knew about what I saw in Teen magazine ads. Caboodles! And Love’s Baby Soft perfume. T-shirt buckles and HUGE hairsprayed hair! In my 4th grade class picture, I am wearing, I kid you not, a layered ruffle skirt in NEON green, orange and pink, neon pink and black leggings, two different pairs of neon socks, neon pink shoes, a splattered painted t-shirt and two giant neon green and pink bows in my hair. That was my super-best outfit and I made sure to wear it for picture day.
