Do you remember green scarf that played as pivotal a role in Confessions of a Shopaholic as any of the characters? That crinkled green scarf was not only Isla Fischer’s signature wardrobe item, but it pretty much defined her character – from beginning to end!

I once went shopping with my sister and bought lots of little things at different stores. Weeks later when my statement came in, I forgot ever having purchased anything and was ready to fight the charges until I remembered what I purchased.
My favorite shopaholic-type memory is scoring a beautiful blue dress at a great price.
Well, I wrote an essay one time and won a shopping spree at Macy’s. They provided a stylist and everything…and I swear, I spent the entire day (over eight hours) inside that store. Did I even eat? I can’t remember…
I spent a LOT of money that day.
My memory is traveling and shopping at an outlet mall.
My favorite is when my family got together and as a gift gave me a huge mall gift card.

Me and two of my friends went out on a whim and accidentally bought almost three hundred dollars worth of shoes each!! Granted we hit up the sales but it was still the most I had ever spent on shoes at one time!

Sad to see the deadline passed! Will there be any more give-a-ways coming up?? I had a great shop-a-holic memory too! One time while prom dress shopping, one of the zippers on a dress broke and I got stuck in the dress! I had to get numerous sales ladies to help me out! Super embarrassing, but memorable shopping story!

My favorite shopping memory is from last December when my mom took me to the private sale at nordstrom. It was a Sunday night and the store was closed to anyone not “invited” and there was a coat check and live band and trays of food and great drinks and I got so many wonderful shoes and dresses! It was such a great night bonding with my mom, who I don’t get to see as often as I’d like
Oh my gosh, I love Helen’s story. Classic.
My favorite was when I had to get my husband to install a new closet, because I was out of room for my newest purchases.

When I was in high school I wanted to go shopping so badly that I took a bike my dad had found in someone’s garbage and rode it almost 5 miles to the nearest mall. I bought two shirts and an adorable pair of sandals. It was SO worth it!
Boo! I missed the deadline – I’ll share anyway. My mom used to take me on a shopping spree for my birthday each year when I was a preteen. I miss those days!

i remember when i was at mc donalds and i ordered everything i could from the dollar menu because i thought the deals were so good.
I use to work retail and every time a new pay check would come around I would come home with a car full of clothes and an empty wallet!
